         <description><![CDATA[<div>Schools provide a very diverse population of students. On average according to The American Society for the Positive Care of Children around 30% percent of students hasve been bullied and around 70 % of students has witnessed bullying (American SPCC, 2018). Bullying in schools have been an ongoing and recurring issue with no apparent solution.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students who are victims of bullying suffer from many different challenges. They will face academic struggles because their focus isn't on academics. The victims of bullying could face suicidal thoughts, feel unsafe at school,  or have depression/anxiety ( The Cyberbullying Research Center, 2017). </div>]]></description>

         <title>The Prevention of Bullying Within Schools</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bullying is widely prevented within all school systems but yet still relevant. In order to prevent bullying more awareness must be brought to students. Along with awareness we must make student's comfortable enough to report all cases. Currently in schools things such as signs are put into place to bring awareness but this isn't enough. All administration, teachers, and parents must work together to ensure the safety of each student.  The collective effort will ensure each student has a safe learning environment. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Evidence Informed Practice </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As staff within in the school we must be aware of all students behavior.  When students behaviors change it is a sign of a deeper things such as bullying or other conflicts. Each week as a staff updates will be given on students behavior. The school must put emphasis on a zero tolerance for bullying. As a social worker implementing educational courses will be very beneficial. These educational courses will be intended for both teachers and students. Teachers will learn how to distinguish and see signs of bullying meanwhile students will learn about the different types of bullying. While learning about the different types of bullying, emphasis will be put on the repercussions of bullying. The educational courses will teach students hate and harm is strictly prohibited within the school. As a social worker I will closely monitor the school bullying incidents, hopefully there will be a decrease in all bullying reports.  </div>]]></description>
