         <description><![CDATA[<div>Coaches are the leaders of change in their school. <br>Tactics that coaches should employ to lead the change are:<br><br>Stay detached- coaches may be attacked personally or their interventions may come under attack. Need to stay detached and not take it as personal attacks.<br><br>Walk on Solid Ground-<br>be clear on what you stand for. Short term goals and long term goals should be clear.<br><br>Clarifying Your Message- be clear about the information and vision you are sharing  with teachers.<br><br>Manage Change Effectively-make sure that teachers know what is expected of them and that you have helped them to have everything the need. <br><br>Confronting Reality-ask questions so that you know where the issues are in the school.<br><br>Understanding School Culture-know the cultural norms of the school and work to change the norms that are not good. <br><br>Being Ambitious and Humble-have a partnership approach but still stay driven about making the changes that are for the best.<br><br>Take Care of Yourself- Take time for yourself. Make sure that you distinguish yourself from your role. Have friends and a place to go where you can relax. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>
