Hence, I was not too hopeful about the project as I was convinced that everyone was like me, and would not be keen in purchasing the goods that I would be selling. To my surprise, my very first sale turned out to be the most expensive item – the bag. I was indeed taken aback and after rounds of sales, it became apparent to me that the residents there are rather friendly and approachable. In all honesty, it seemed that those who purchased the goods really did so for they could empathise with us, students, who were doing our with community service even on a weekend. 
In a nutshell, this was an eye-opening experience and I have changed my perspective towards door-to-door sales, as well as the community I’m living in. So they save animals and save the environment, because animals are friends, not food. I think the community certainly learnt more about this philosophy from all of us, and hopefully everyone will learn to like animals more. In school, we also learn about these things. But now we make the world our school. We school the world. Hence, we spread the knowledge we learnt in school, complementing it nicely. On this beautiful day, we are all animals. And so we are all friends, not food.
