If you are that kind of person, trust me, you are living a lie. Probably we are going to have some good new inventions and even new advances in human expectancy, and we will be grateful for that, but somehow that will not last until the end.
It's a little bit confusing, but let me explain it. Governments at this moment are not executing those plans presented during the campaign period, and do you think they will perform them, don't you? We must be realistic, They are not going to do it, and it's a 99% probability that in the future that will be worse.
Let's stop talking about politics, I'll emphasize two more things, one of them is very interesting, and it's how diseases are going to evolve into a worse version of them. Right now we are still living in a pandemic, and it is not a good experience. Imagine, how could that virus create a lot of havoc. Now, let's imagine 2050, which will probably be one of the worst catastrophes for human beings. Of course, some of the current illnesses will be cured at all, but we don't know if any other disease is going to appear in those two decades...
And last but not least, hunger will attack us everywhere. We are not considering that if we continue bringing the new population to the world, resources will not be enough for people. Therefore many people will, unfortunately, die because of that.
So, we need to change those details to be a better society and create new ways to live happily in the future. I'm certain that the year 2050 will bring about a world that is highly technological. Many jobs will be done by robots, and there will be an increase in artificial intelligence. The weather is going to be much hotter than it is today, and this will bring about the need to find ways to cope with this change. I believe that diseases will also increase due to the melting of the polar ice caps, as there are many viruses frozen within them. We're going to see more programs and innovations that will be used to do things that were once impossible. We will be living in a technological bubble, and we will need to be flexible and adapt to different behaviors and ways of life. Also, I think that for many of the things that we do at home, robots will be able to do them, such as mopping floors or washing dishes, we will have robots for almost everything, including transportation, making food, and many other activities, and taking all these into consideration I guess there will be great inequality in society because there will be people who will be able to buy these things but also people who will not be able to purchase these technologies because of the lack of money, so the poor countries will become even poorer while the rich ones will become richer, our wealth will go only to people with power, who will get more power, and these people will be controlling the rest, doing as they wish, although there will be enough resources for everybody, a lot of people will suffer poverty because of the selfishness of some people. These new changes will bring numerous advantages, easier ways to do some regular activities that we currently do, an aesthetic, modern and stunning appearance of different stuff, advances in technology, etc.

Robots are one clear example, it is my belief that robots will have the capacity to do any kind of activities that we ask them or instruct them to develop such as cooking, cleaning, processing data information, helping humans out with their skills and characteristics, etc. There will be another kind of inventions such as innovative vehicles, different style of houses, streets, buildings and more.

However, as a disadvantage, some of these inventions will probably make greenhouse gases emissions increase, which will probably keep going with the pollution in a same or even worse way, maybe not though. Future is simply impredictable, but this is how I imagine it will be like.
