Today i have learned how to use padlet and also have done research and made two mood boards on camera equipment and different types of shots. today i got asked to make QR codes which i successfully did,here are one of my mood boards below.

Today we have been set to complete our three mood boards that should contain, video tutorial, written texts, images and finally websites where we gathered all the research from. Then out of the three mood boards we have to pick one to make a mind map on and also create a tutorial about the specific chosen activities. Lastly we must register to blendspace.

THURSDAY 1ST OCTOBER 2015

Today i finished my mind map of the specific idea i picked. My idea was types of shots. for example screen cast, digital video and etc. from the mind map i have got loads of types of ideas how to do my tutorial for example when i researched you tube videos i learned so much from types of shots. i also have learned from the mind map how from images and audio, how i can make my tutorial better and engaging for the viewers, for example using back ground music and loads of light in my tutorial will make my tutorial excellent and enjoyable for the viewers.

i have learned the basics of editing and now i can use the editing software which is very useful for when i start my tutorial session on different types of shots. from the editing tutorial From corey how to edit footage and how to stretch it and to add more than one footage to combine them both together which extremely interesting.

i also watched a presentation on types of shots so i got a kind of idea how i can represent my tutorial. For instance i don't have to be talking i can just play back up music while showing the viewers the different types of shots.

i got shown how to set up camera equipment ffor example how to set up a camera and to set up the tripod now i feel more confident for the real tutorial.

THURSDAY 15th OCTOBER 2015

Today we talked about preproduction for example finalised story board, proposal, equipment booking log, contingency, location visits, production schedule. I need to talk to Brendan and book a camera from Brendan for next week. The biggest challenge today was using blends pace

Problems from today, getting Microsoft work onto blend space. I learned how to do it from other colleagues.

Thursday 8th August

Today I got told to create a rough mood board for my tutorial, which had to explain every little detail what I was supposed to do and how long the duration going to be etc. I completed my rough mood board which was in types of shots and all the shots I chose I felt rather confident in creating them. For my final tutorial that will last approximately 90 seconds, we got told to put the rough mood board then when we thought they were ready put them into a digital mood board with cameraI shots from a Film to give yourself examples of the shots. Here are the two of my mood boards below is the original and above is my after which is the digital one.

THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER

Today at the begging of the session, we were told that we are going to spilt up into two groups therefore, one group experiencing the photo studio room and the other one finishing their preproduction. the purpose of todays lesson was to learn about the photo studio and all the camera equipment that would be included into a tv set which is useful for my tutorial. the challenges i faced were pre planning my tutorial for instance the schedule which you had to be specific and organises when and what I'm going to do. the main challenge was getting my work onto blend space it was frustrating to try and upload my work and i accidentally created my blendspace into a lesson which has made it more complicated. i overcomed them by asking for help and now its all sorted and my work is all on blendspace. today i have learned how to listen to instructions and how to be a camera man on a live set which was extremely interesting and i enjoyed it with a passion. what next session i need to complete my glossary and health and safety. i will do this by using my iPad at home and look up all the health and safety involving filming and glossary for all of the words i have learned on the way. i feel confident for what i have done now because i have completed all of the tasks i was set which all look brilliant and safe because they're all on blendspace not a folder so no excuse for loosing it which is amazing. i need to develop for next lesson by finishing the last two final tasks which are glossary, health and safety and I'm going to get it a DSLR camera out and tripod to do parts of my tutorial while on half term to see how it works out. here is a photo from the photo studio today i witnessed today in the university centre.

THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER

today at the beginning of the session I was told today we're going to lean how to edit footage today and we Will split into groups, one group doing the editing and the other group finishing up the glossary and the self evaluation and etc that hasn't been finished to high level. He purpose of the lesson is to learn all different tools such as adding audio or title to footage and mixing different footages together. The problem was we only had 25 mins to learn it. I only achieved to put a title for a certain amount of seconds just to try fonts and ways for the title to change to the first shot I chose it too dissolve which I have said in my story board which is good. I also had a assessment with Delta for her to tell me my progress and what I need to do to get the pass and not fail. All the points Delta said was extremely important because she told to change my production schedule and my log sheet for Brendan so I can get out the camera and complete my tutorial footage, then I will be ready to edit. For next week I'm planning on combining my footage I get this weekend and footage from films that are the same shots and combine them together then edit them with music. Then in the end I will have a successful pass tutorial that is complete and interesting.

THURSDAY 12TH NOVEMBER

Today i had my footage and i was starting my editing on premier pro and at the end of the lesson i had a edited footage of what i set to do. which was getting my images and footage together but i didn't get to add any titles or music which was disappointing. next week im going to have out all finished and ready to be assessed by everyone in the leture room which is going to fun.

Here is a screen shot of most of the project productions in my class. my work is much different and similar to other peoples. other peoples ones are better because they have used voice over which explains everything more clearer than mine because mine isn't the bets to understand whats happening. but i find thom for example he talks quite quick which would bore me in my opinion but he does show rally clear what you have to do for his project which is very successful.

Today we had to finish of everything of our production including printing out the GR codes and the self evaluation sheet. i and to finish of my whole evaluation today and do all the other things we got set today. int he end i have finished everything to a good standard and i hope i pass this project which would be good. i do feel relieved because this was the last day of the project but i have enjoyed this who project which was good.
