A big shoutout to XXX. I would like to mention a certain occasion in 2021 that I was so thankful to have such a great buddy whom I can count on. It was during our 10.10 campaign and I was burning the midnight oil every night for 2 weeks straight, albeit still far from hitting the deadlines. Feeling discouraged, she had supper delivered to me every night up until campaign day and I felt really supported. That kept me driven, knowing that my teammate will always have my back.

You Make Me Feel Special!

If this words sounds familiar to you, not because it's Twice's song; "Feel Special". But yes, that's exactly how I feel ☺️

I joined Shopee in Campaign Project (CP) ID team last May 2021, and Nov 16th I get a chance to learn at different team; Social & Engagement. I am so grateful to get a chance to know my former team at CP, such bright and beautiful souls! I learned so much for the past -+7 months.

I learned that the whole CP team is always do their best for help, always ready to have each other's back. They even ready to go extra miles for their team members. It makes me feel appreciated and encourage me to do the same thing for others, too.

I would like to give them a big hug for putting so much effort for me during my first (and last) day meeting them on WFO. They even bring me such a cute cake (as seen on the picture), which look exactly like me. They even included my mole there, what a detail! 😍

For me, who just moved to a new city, living alone, this kind of act is so comforting. (fyi, my last day meeting them is literally my first day in Jakarta)

Also a big shoutout to Agatha, my assigned buddy and also my first friend at CP team. She's been my guide since my Day 1, and the most important thing I learned from her; Never afraid to ask question.

I always ceased to ask questions since I aware that some will find it annoying. Yet she said questions is the easiest way to learn, and she will happily answer me to let me learn new things (even things I am don't imagine asking, but I actually need that later) She will always ready to help me to adapt with the new team.
The only thing I regret was that we didn't have any chance to talk in person during WFO. It won't be easy since we have different WFO schedule, but we'll do someday.

In the end, I would like to thank all of them for letting me being part of CP team, you all will always be my family!

She is Kiki Awaliyah, a big sister of mine in Shopee. We have been a colleague for months now. Kiki has multiple roles in her life. She is the oldest daughter, a sister, a reliable MC, a talented voice-over talent, a brilliant Relationship Manager, and most importantly, a kind-hearted and thoughtful coworker. Kiki often becomes the MC in our internal team events and frequently helps her coworkers' daily tasks. There was one day when she even helped an office boy prepare catering at the office! You make the workplace a little bit brighter and a whole lot of fun. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air in our team.

I am so thankful to have a partner like her.. She's Sincere as she has always done her job patiently without complaining. She's Honest since she never lied even to herself. She's so Optimistic that sometimes she makes me believe in myself. She's Playful and never get tired, it gives positive energy to her surrounding including me. She's Emphatic and able to feel what others feel that make us comfortable to be around her. Last but not least, she' so Entertaining; She'll entertain you by her singing "oh, she really has a good voice" and sometimes she'll amuse you by her jokes..

Shout Out for My Other Half

A huge shout out for my peer, Mega. There are many things in 2021 that makes me so thankful for having you. Couldn't thank you enough for always supporting me in many ways during our work together. The support comes both way, and it was always nice to have someone who trust me and rely on me when needed. We went through our burnt out together, amazingly in different occasion so that we could look out for each other. There are many times I feel like giving up, but it was always nice to know I have a partner like you.

Appreciation post to Afifah Wiraatmadja who show her care towards people and anyone around them beyond being just colleague. I remember during my first 6 months here, afifah genuinely showed interest in building connection with me - trying to get to know me as new joiner, my interest as a person, and share her tips in working in Shopee.
Up to this date - Afifah shows most investment in people compared to whoever ive seen in the company. Thank you Afifah for making Shopee Zoom and seatalk feels like home during pandemic!

A Special Shoutout to Sellena Halim. I would like to mention a certain occasion in 2021 that I was so thankful to have such an incredible Project Partner whom I can count on. I started my new employment at Shopee during the 9.9 & 10.10 campaigns. Although I was a new joiner, I already got assigned to a newly-created project. I was quite loss & overwhelmed during my first couple months managing the project, but Sellena kindly guided me step by step to reach every check point. It’s also that one time she gave me a piece of advice:

Quote from her:

“My advice for you is to be confident, Bill. I notice sometimes you’re hesitant to share about project updates. Just be brave because we learn everything by doing and that will move us to the next. If we get wrong, we will correct them along the way”

To this day, her priceless advice is still ringing in my ears and I was very lucky to have her as my FIRST project partner at Shopee. I hope all of our projects and career will flourish at Shopee! 🍊

If you could only use a few words to describe your days in the past 6 months, what would that be?

Mine would be 'Wild Ride' for sure!

From one campaign to another, I witnessed with all team members of Marketing Segment have been dedicated & helpful (which made me feel welcomed & proud to be a part of this team!)

During my so-called 'wild ride', there is Dea (dea.maria@shopee.com), my #1 go-to-person amidst all the chaotic and blissful times I faced. I'd like to especially send my gratitude to her;
-- Thank you for being there, lending your hand & answering the most basic up to complex questions I had, to ease my transition to the ID Marketing team.
-- Thank you for pouring all you had into our campaigns in Mom & Baby segment. Despite rough patches here and there, we managed to bring a positive impact after all!
-- and thank you for being such a supportive friend, constantly reminding me to take a break once in a while, to care for myself...

All these things kept me going and I owed most of that to Dea, my 'wild ride' partner!

To all of you, please take your time to thank your surroundings.

Friends Who I Can Count On

I would like to say thank you for Ariq Khairi. In my division, Dispute, we separate tim consist of several skills who handel different complain, A,B,C, BRT, Premium and SF skills. I was from skill C who handel complain about damage product. It was on May, 2021. I got rotation to other skill, thats skill SF which handel all complain through email and using salesforce to do all the duty. In that time it was very hactic, because that time is ramadhan month, when we are all muslim should fasting and do praying night after 7pm. I was really confused and should finished job more late than usual when I was in skill C which I have already understood. Thankfully, I have friend Ariq still want to accompany and assist me to finish the job even its already late than time to finish job more than 7pm for almost 1 week. After 2 weeks adaptation I quitely understood about what should I do, and I was always asking several hard and confusing ticket before end of the day. It almost need 1 month to understand all the variation of the case. I was so grateful and thank you enough, knowing that my Colleagues always be there and support me.(Due to pandemic we never meet in person, this picture take it when we were training after 1 week training)
