He did not appreciate his family when he was younger, and grew to love his godfather. He was born in November 21, 1694 in Paris, and died on May 30, 1778 Paris. He then went to France and fell in love with the daughter of an adventurer's daughter, so the French ambassador he was working for sent him to France fearing scandal. He became known for his wits and dared to mock the dissolute regent. He then was sent to the Bastille and sent out of Paris. Voltaire was actually in Bastille many times. He says he learned nothing in college though. He wrote lots of books and plays including, Candide, Zadig, Diconnarie pilosiphique, Letters on the English, and Treatsie on Tolerance. Second of all, he believed in freedom of religion which is another part of our first amendment. I also think that everyone should have freedom of religion, because your religion is normally peoples first most important thing and so if you take peoples religion away from them they would feel like you are taking away their whole life. Lastly he believed in the freedom of trade... Another part of the 1st amendment. I think that this should be allowed, as long as what you are trading is not illegal!
