honestly, its much harder to make memories on zoom because its well, zoom. the only thing i can think of rn is when u sang those songs (we also learned some of them in 4th grade), or when you cracked a joke. anyways, what im trying to say is that i made many memories with you and the class and i will miss yall

But we still did our hardest to pass this school year and we are almost done. For some reason, it felt like the shortest school year ever. And at the beginning of the school year, I felt like it would be the longest I have ever went through. I still had a lot of fun this school year, having a great teacher, classmates, and school gave me something to do, learn, having a routine, and so much more. So many memories, and at least we might see each other again someday, whether it's in class, or in the hallway, or at recess. Because we are all going to Gateway. It is a great school with even better teachers. I really want to go back to forth grade so I can do fifth grade again IN PERSON. But I am glad that we are able to safely learn online and still have some fun. We are so lucky that we get to do school on laptops that the school provide for us. Some people don't even do school because they can't afford a laptop or even a phone. Our school also has drive through activities and little things like that. I can't believe that we are going from elementary school to middle school. I am truly going to miss this amazing school.

Things are still not how they were before but what's important is that we worked together. Nothing that we've been doing all year wouldn't be possible without the amazing teachers, staff and workers, in not only Forest View but the entire school district and state. I still cannot believe that my last year of elementary school will end like this and that I'm going to middle school. It was a dream that was so far away before but it's just a few months away now. I hope that next year will be more successfull and we will be able to do things that we haven't been able to do. School over computers wasn't the best for me because I wish in person all the way, but I want to say thanks to Mr.Robb, my classmates, friends and family. As well as the other teachers and workers that made this year possible. I've actually never even been inside Forest View but I understand it like I was in person. I've learned so much and thank you to Mr.Robb for being an awesome teacher. ;D Miss y'all, hope we can stay in touch. Have an amazing summer everyone and thank you again! :)

This was my first school (besides preschool) and my sister who is now in high school went here from 3rd grade to 5th. I've been at this school for a long time and I've been in the highly capable program since 2nd grade. I'm gonna miss this school and all the teachers here! This year was a really hard year for all of us, but we persevered through it and it just seemed so short. Thank you Mr. Robb for making learning fun (not just teacher fun) and helping me with my math during office hours. You are a great teacher and I'll try to visit!

Especially this year, as I didn't know anyone at all, and because we were on zoom, it was harder to meet people and talk to them. I was hardly in touch with other friends, maybe one or 2. Then, I met everyone during field day. It was great meeting everyone. This year has brought me many smiles and giggles, as the year went by more Smoothly than I thought, and it's hard to believe that This is the last year of Elementary. 
I especially want to thank you Mr. Robb for making concepts easy and school really exciting to go to, even if we're just on zoom. You always made me laugh and brought a smile to my face, preparing me for the challenge ahead of me. When my friends ask me who my favorite teacher was, I don't think twice before telling them that my amazing 5th grade teacher Mr. Robb is truly the finest teacher that anyone can have, and I was so lucky to be one of those people, and I'll remember you and what you've taught me to overcome those challenges that await me in middle school. 
When I was in kindergarten, first and second grade, I thought that it was impossible to get to fifth grade, and that it was centuries away. I can't believe that I'm already at the end, now. All of my friends and teachers have gave me high support that I will forever be grateful for. They are the reason that today, I can say, I am officially a middle schooler, and I'll remember Forest View each morning as I wake up as a successful gateway guardian next year. Forest view gave me a lot, and now I'm going to make it proud of me with all I can.
