         <description><![CDATA[<div>This type of engine that used a new type of energy, the gas, produced a high amount of energy, being very useful because of  its efficiency. Barber's concept was sound, but given the technology of the day, the device couldn't possibly create enough energy to compress air and gas and produce useful work. However, credit for the idea leading to the modern gas turbine can go to John Barber.</div>]]></description>
