<title>I heard about PAF being multisensory but I am really expressed that we use different senses. There are gross motor skills involved such as the hand movement, the mouth&#39;s movement to say the letter and the visual card to see what you must spell. I believe all of those cues are helpful to learn for any age group. </title>

I also learned how PAF ties directly into what we know about the science of reading which I found to be very interesting.</title>

<title>one of my big takeaways from the session today pertains to the research and reasons for word lists - reading the words out of context forces students to really sound them out using strategies learned; whereas when students can read words in context, they are able to figure them out because they are highly intelligent which doesn&#39;t force them to practice their new skills</title>

As all of the skills are taught together to keep the program multi sensory, should I pick a simpler text to accommodate spelling difficulties or should I challenge them in spelling by picking a difficult book. Thank you so much!</title>
