Alabaré supports ex-Armed forces personnel who have become homeless through a variety of issues during transition from the Military and into civilian life, and we support veterans through their mental health issues and problems directly, and through referrals to specialist agencies.

Links combined Forces project is a project for Armed Forces Veterans which is run by veterans.  The project supports ex-service personnel and their families in   Carmarthenshire area and is aimed at reducing isolation, improving confidence, self-esteem, and providing purposeful, skills-based activities.

The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) provide medical welfare to the armed forces, veterans NHS staff, emergency services, the merchant navy, and their immediate family when they are receiving treatment in hospital.  Their practical and emotional support ensures that no one goes through the worry of illness or injury alone.

Icarus Online, PTSD Resolution and Rock2Recovery have formulated a collaborative partnership model with the aim of providing accessible immediate    mental health treatment and support free to veterans, reservists, and their family members from just one referral or initial point of contact.

Radiate Arts’ projects promote personal awareness, self-worth, and mindfulness, enabling individuals to   interact in a positive manner and create a cohesive sense of achievement and experiences of well-being. They have   experience of facilitating and delivering inclusive projects working with a diverse range of groups within society 

The project is based at Cardiff Castle in the heart of the capital city of Wales. This central and   accessible hub runs activities for veterans and aims to support the connection of beneficiaries to the full range of services provided by other portfolio organisations across Wales. The hub provides a safe, welcoming space – enhancing the overall provision of portfolio for veterans.

Mission Motorsport – The Forces’ Motorsport   Charity, whose motto is “Race Retrain Recover” is the Ministry of  Defence’s competent authority for motor sport as a recovery activity and is a Royal Foundation (the charitable trust of the Duke and  Duchess of Cambridge) and Endeavour Fund supported initiative. Over 2000 veterans have found work through the charity’s programmes 

TGP Cymru is the leading Wales based Children’s Rights Charity, which supports and represents vulnerable children and young people through a range of projects, training, and campaigning. TGP offer independent and confidential support to children, young people and families through advocacy, participation, counselling, family group meetings, restorative approaches, and conflict resolution. They also offer advocacy support for those experiencing problems with emotional health and wellbeing.

Fighting With Pride (FWP) supports LGBT+ Veterans, serving personnel and families, particularly those dismissed or forcibly retired during the ‘gay ban’. As a lived experience organisation, FWP confidence builds LGBT+ Veterans, connects them to health and wellbeing services, capacity builds organisations to support them, and champions their recovery back to the Armed Forces family they were forced to leave.

At The VC Gallery, we provide a service that will improve the welfare and support for armed forces veterans and the wider community throughout Pembrokeshire, responding to their needs as quickly and efficiently as possible in an empathetic manner that engages with them, to support and assist with their needs and entitlements.

The VC has grown massively since it's humble beginnings. From our two drop-in locations in Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock, we offer help and support through creative active engagement to people of all ages, with mental and physical disabilities, and to those who may be suffering from social isolation.

Woody’s Lodge is a social hub, which guides veterans to the help & support they need to re-engage with their families and communities. Our vision is to create an inviting meeting space for those who have served within the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, where they can receive expert support & advice as well as the chance to connect with new and old friends & family.

Woody’s Lodge commemorates Paul “Woody” Woodland who lost his life in a training exercise before he was due to return for a second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Valley Veterans is a veteran-led organisation based in the heart of the Rh ondda Valley. Founded over 10 years ago as an informal support group for PTSD sufferers, Valley Veterans is now a vibrant hub with more than 140 active  participants. 

Current organised activities include a weekly breakfast club hosted in the Ton & Gelli Community Centre, and attracts up to veterans every Thursday plus daily equine and horticultural activities at the adjacent yard that attracts up to a dozen regular daily participants. 

Valley Veterans improves the mental and physical health and   wellbeing of veterans through active participation in equine and horticultural activities. Veteran-led, and supported by mentors and industry partners, participants gain practical skills and experience to combat the challenges resulting from isolation and loneliness.
