I may inspire my students to find out the cultural differences in socioecnomics by reading and finding how people in different areas use different materials as money, and what is the function of money, and how different people use money in The History of Money. In The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian, Junior is ugly and poor, but he never give up his pursue for a better learning environment no matter how many times he is criticized or laughed at. I will use his story to encourage my students to embrace their peers from minority cultural groups and encourage students from minority cultural groups or have disabilities to realize that we should try to do as best as we can in all our imperfections.
