Movement is extremely important for all living organisms as it increases their chance of catching prey/food and can help them escape predators. For example if we sense danger, movement gives us the opportunity to get away from it.

Respiration is essential because it helps provide energy for organisms and is a vital part of MRS GREN Animals respire through breathing. Plants, like animals, also take in oxygen and carbon dioxide however, as they do not have organs, use leaves to absorb oxygen.

Sensitivity refers to our senses. sensitivity is important as it allows organisms to respond to changes in the environment around them. This then gives them the chance to act accordingly. For example, when there is light, plants senses tell them to move towards it. Another example is that as animals, our sensitivity to noise can warn us about danger.

Growth is important to plants and and animals. It can give animals a sense of dominance and power while also allowing them to move and develop. It is also essential to plants as in a way, growth is plants way of movement. For example, through growth, plants can move towards light when needed to help make their food through photosynthesis.
