Uses words to refer to his skin color as "poop". The word has a negative connotation, therefore, it is clear he is not proud about his background. He describes his parent''s loud language and cooking sounds in the housuehold's environment.

Disappointnment-
Describes how he has not forgiven Reed. 
When Reed confronted him about the events of prom he remained quiet and although he took the fall for it, they never spoke again.
