Ankle Injury 10/23/2023

A new day started and I was eager to go to church once again to compete against a few fellows in my favorite sport, basketball. Arriving at church with my mind getting ready for the game and showing them how much I had improved. The game started very great as we were putting up buckets and scoring the whole time. But things were getting more physical each time a "swish" sound echoed the gym. Then it was my turn for my bucket. The ball started to bounce on the ground as I dribbled into the paint for my layup. I protected the ball like a baby with my whole body but the moment I jumped up, something felt off, I could feel gravity pulling my body down side way as the opponent pushed me to the side. Landed with a twisted ankle and laying in pain, basketball season is over for me this year.

Another day at church and the last day of winter break. I just finished church and was ready to go home with my friends until my brother came out and asked if we wanted to go out with the Children Ministry teacher and have some food. Me and my friend both looked at each other with excitement because we already know if we go home, we are just gonna waste our time on video games. We then got ready and started driving out of church to a whole new place that I never knew existed before. The place is called "Nightingale". But before entering, she pulled out her camera to take some pictures and I realized that this is her job, social media and a videographer. The restaurant welcomed her with side dishes such as chicken wings and Thai salad. They were incredible down to the very last drop of sauce. It filled us up really quick not even letting us wait for the next course. The meal ended in laughters and photos taken ready to get upload to Instagram.

Halloween night 10/30/2023

A holiday that would get every kids excited and become whoever you like. Halloween is here and kids are ready to grab their buckets and go trick-or-treat My church invited me to come and helped at the game stations for the kids. I certainly agreed and was ready to take the job. During school, the thought of who can I be can't make me focus but then an idea hit me, "Toji Fushiguro"; An anime guy from "Jujutsu Kaisen" that I thought was an interesting character that the author chose to design. After school, I rushed home, take a quick shower, put on the black compression shirt and baggy gray pants and now i looked just like him! We went to church and get prepared for the kids. During this time my ankle still pretty injured so my job was simply watching the station and not letting any kids cheat their ways for more candies. Each stations get a bag full of candies and we just can't wait to give out all of them and let these kids enjoy the rest of the night. Finally, the night ended candies everywhere and kids running around while the adults taking down the stations. Immediately, my eyes shifted to a photo booth so I asked all my friends to gather up to take a memory photo so we will never forget this crazy Halloween night with my actually dressing up for the first time.

A new place called Georgia 07/01/2023

It's summer of 2023 and it's finally time for me to go somewhere outside of California. The place my family went to is Georgia, the state of Atlanta. When I first step foot on it, I can't stand the fact that this place is extremely humid making my body uncomfortable and felt like I can't survive even for just a week. My dad's friends then came to pick us up and drove us back to the hotel. It took around 30 minutes but we finally made it but relaxation is not yet ready for any of us. Waiting to get our room is a whole other challenge but in the end, we got our room and it's time to relax. The second day started with a filling breakfast follow up with some worship sections and bible studies. After this, we got our free time so me and my friends went around and explore this amazing and humongous hotel. The bar, pool, empty rooms, etc. It was never ending! We then came back together as a group and played planned activities. But even if you think we will get bored without going outside then you're wrong. It looked like it was big enough for 100 people to fit in and because the weather is too humid outside, we decided to spend all our day inside enjoying the amazing AC. On the last day, not a single soul I know is left so the adventure had to continue alone. In the end, there was no other place I haven't explored. Packing and dragging the luggage out to check out, it's time to say "Goodbye."

Knott's Berry Farm 08/01/2023

After Georgia, I'm back to a lame and regular life just waiting for summer to end and school to come. Suddenly as I was in my group chilling, a text appeared on my phone saying: "Yo, you want to go to Knott's with us this Friday?" Without a second thought, I shot a text back to him saying: "Of course bro!"

The day had finally arrived and my dad drove me and my brother to Knott's just on time. We waited for about 20 minutes until we saw a white van and the people we've been waiting for. We met and greeted each other before getting into a line to go in Knott's entrance door. The eagerness couldn't hold me back so someone had to go with me to make sure no one runs off on their own! Obviously the first ride has to be the most popular so we all went in but didn't realize how packed it was in there. A waiting time of 30 minutes with endless chats. It was finally our turn and we slowly stepped on the roller coaster. It fell down and I couldn't feel my leg and all I could do was follow my instinct, which is screaming my heart out. After that we couldn't get on another ride and people needed to use the restrooms. We stopped and rested before getting on another ride. At this moment, my friend's mom asked us to take a picture together. We then sat down, put on a serious face and clicked, a new picture came out perfectly fine. We looked at it then laughed at each other on how this picture came out. With enough energy and excitement in our body, we were ready to go on the next ride and enjoy the rest of our day.
