The gas planets are big and far away. Pluto is the only planet that wasn't walked on and explored. Jupiter is the biggest planet and is important. All the planets can fit inside.
Jupiter protects the earth by taking asteroid hits.  Jupiter is not a place we can live. 
It is not at the right temperature and it is made entirely of gas. Saturn's rings are special.
At a angle, the rings disappear.
They are made of chunks of ice. Uranus is made of water.
It has old, thin rings.
Uranus doesn't spin on an axis. Mercury is small for it's weight. 
The surface is like the moon. Mars is very unknown.
There might or might have not life on Mars.

Babylonians thought that Jupiter protected them. They were right. Jupiter ate a comet that gave it dark brown bruises. Jupiter is all gas but inside there is a core about the size of earth. Jupiter's famous red swirl is a hurricane.
Saturn
 Saturn is the 2nd gas giant. Saturns rings appeared 50,000,000 years ago. If dinosaurs could make  telescopes they could see Saturn with no rings. Saturn is not a solid. Saturn has 18 moons. One moon is called the Death Star because of a crater made from hard impact. Saturns rings are just babies.
Uranus
Uranus is mostly water around a small core. Uranus is blue because of methane gas.
Neptune
Neptune has a moon named Triton that orbits backwards.
Mercury
 Mercury is the closest to the sun. The side that is closer to the sun is 350 degrees Celsius.
Venus
Venus clouds are made of sulfuric acid.
Earth
Volcanos made so much hydrogen and oxygen that it eventually created water
Mars
 Mars is thought that there is some life on it even if it might be the small building blocks of the universe.

Mercury is to heavy for its size. 
Venus is the closest planet to us and is about the same size like the sun.
On Mars has red air.
Demos and fobos are two of Mars moons.

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, all the planets could fit in it. Jupiter is made from gas or energy. Jupiter also protects us from huge comets! 
1 day on Jupiter is only 10 hours. In fact, a camera has gone to Jupiter to look at many aspects. But it was soon melted from the gas. Jupiter has 4 moons, that were attracted by gravity.
Saturn is also a gas planet. Saturn's rings are made from rocks, gas, and ice! They are incredibly thin. Saturn has 18 moons! 
Uranus is made of water, it get its colors from gas. It does have rings but they are very thin to be noticed. The planets closet to the sun are all rocky planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
While the plants that are the farthest from the sun are gas planets.
