- Include the latest data on prevalence of preterm infants in Malaysia (from NOR 2016-2017) 

- Slide 6, look back at where (Blencowe et., 2012) get the data on prevalence of preterm infants

- Always go to original data/references when citing

- Dr said - Good thinking on why focusing on late preterm birth (they treated late preterm as term birth although growth and developments is not the same)

- Know the difference between accelerated/rapid growth and catch-up growth

- Slide 12, understand what is the feeding practice stated in the slide/rather than keep saying on feeding practice, try to look on breastfeeding perspectives (as longer/exclusively breastfeed can also reduce rehospitalization rate due to immunity)

- Slide 12, look back on what is the best recommendation for feeding in late preterm infants (breastfeeding is the best feeding in late preterm infants as most of the baby have develop the sucking and can latch directly from the mother) 

- Slides 12, the way I explain can trigger some controversial – is it really true that longer length of stay in hospital is better as baby will separated with mother longer? Is it really true that longer length of stay can reduce rehospitalization? Why it happens?

- Provide pros and cons for each (why longer LOS is better or why shorter LOS is better) 

-  How long is the length of stay of late preterm babies

- Can put the data on late preterm babies discharge early but comeback to hospital due to jaundice issue 

- Slide 14, understand better why jaundice happens in babies, what factors that help to reduce jaundice (the more babies being feed, the more stool and urine, the more excrete of bilirubin)

- Explore on what is the difference between breastmilk jaundice and breastfeeding jaundice

- Slide 18, very late preterm have possibilities to rehospitalize due to jaundice as they discharge early but preterm 32w – 35w most of them stay around 1 week in the hospitals so they detect the jaundice while the babies are still in the hospital 

- Study on Cooke study – on what types of infants? Is it review papers?

- Know the population of the papers, age range, country, is it review paper or research paper when citing the paper

- Term formula vs enriched formula –>look back on what purpose of this study

- Include this, Maternal stress -> lead to less responsive to infant’s cues of hunger/full -> affect the way of mother feed the babies

- Discuss with min min what is the age range for babies in the study (doesn’t have to be exactly at 4 months, it can be 4 – 6 months)

- When is the sensitive critical period if the infants doesn’t receive appropriate weight gain that can affect them later

- Include on what is the consequences of not achieve appropriate weight gain? <- this can justify the significance of my study

- For infant’s health characteristic iv, relook back and find study that focus on preterm study and read on management guideline 

-  For feeding practice iv, look at neonatal guideline WHO, pediatric association, ESPGHAN, Malaysia on what is the appropriate feeding practice for preterm babies

-  For psychological iv, look on how about the direct support/support at the hospital/ most support is lacking at hospital 

-  Is it fast weight gain is good or slow weight gain is good? Rapid weight gain lead to obesity, slow weight gain lead to developmental delay, too much is a problem and too slow is also a problem 

- What is the optimal weight gain that considered to be healthy among preterm infants?

- Read more on the systematics review paper
- Can start do on proposal writing after I have better understanding on my topic 

  ·  If want to reduce 2 days 24-hour dietary recall to 1 day, we will need a larger sample size to reduce the variability 

  ·  10 questions were deleted/changed from Part H: Environmental Pollution, and 1 question from Part I: Infant sleep questionnaire were changed 

  ·  For the Part I: Infant sleep questionnaire, we cannot simply delete questionnaire with scoring – but we change the question structure from “Where does your child sleep for most of the night?” to “Where does your child usually fall asleep at bedtime”

  ·  Suggest to calculate and present scoring data instead show each item, because scoring will affect the overall data 

  ·  We decided to remove EPDS because mother with children aged 1-3 years old might have mild/no symptoms of post-natal depressions, and we found article that mostly used EPDS as soon as mother give birth to child, not until the child is 1 year old and above. However, we retain PSS. 

 
  ·  Revise back method used in 24-hour dietary recall, instead of WhatsApp/email them, change to online interview session (Zoom, Google Meet etc.) and scheduled the interview with the mother

 
  ·  Show figures/pictures of measuring tools (plate, bowl, cup, etc) to reduce confusion

  ·  Try to reduce measurement bias (e.g. choose the best day to record their child meal instead of another day) 

  ·  Try to address limitations, attract mother with attractive token of appreciation, especially direct or fast rewards (e.g. Shopee pay, e-Wallet)

   ·  For data analysis, if we have frequency in range data, we can use ordinal data to analyse 

 
   ·  For scoring method, try to key-in and use the Excel file, and then just insert the score result into SPSS 

   ·  Prepare for all materials/documents/preparation for the study, so as soon as we get the approval from JKEUPM and MREC, we can start immediately the data collection process
