         <title>Web 1.0</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Invented in 1991 and was in use until the year 2000. It was known as the "Read-Only" web and functioned like a reference book, having no interactive tools or multimedia. Examples of it were play simulations, information purposes, drills, and quizzes. Its uses in business was in general for selling products through shopping carts via e-commerce websites. Personal uses would be a personal website about the owner however due to web pages being static, they never changed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Emerged in 2000 and was known as the Social Web. It had grouping of newer generation of social technologies where users are actively involved in communication and collaboration. Examples are RSS, Social Sharing, Blogs, and Wiki. Web 2.0's use in business had first began rough but later adapted as many businesses started to use social media to make connections and advertise products. Personal use, however, is sharing with others around the world through social media and keeping contact with others.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Probably, the current web of today. Characteristics show that it has software agents use metadata to "read", collate, and integrate information. Also, using data from a search engine to show personalized results. Google is a prime example of personalized results as well as its use in business is generally in search engines. Personalized use rather would be browsers with search engine functionality.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Web 4.0</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Mobile Web but isn't really a new version, rather a new platform that was released by 2007 around the time the iPhone was released. Its characteristics is basically a browser that is compatible with mobile devices and has complete tools like a regular browser on a Personal Computer. Examples being Google Chrome, MetroPCS Internet Browser, Apple's Safari, and Firefox Browser. It is used in businesses as a way for those who do not have a computer to have complete access to their resources and to allow consumers to view their products easily. Personalized use includes many smartphone users being able to search from their device without needing a computer or WiFi connection.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Known as the Emotional Web, it is currently in development but the concept is that apparently it will be a linked web that communicates with the user like a personal assistant. It is seen generally as the web that connects humans to computers. An example that demonstrates Web 5.0 was the former website wefeelfine.org where it could interact with anyone on the website.</div>]]></description>
