         <description><![CDATA[<div>A full-time audiologist would typically work 37.5 hours a week, and earns around £21,909+ per year<br>An audiologist has to decide on the best way to test a patients hearing; adapt tests to suit the age and ability of the patient; check hearing, including sound level and frequency range; and investigate any related medical, physical and emotional symptoms.&nbsp;<br>Once a diagnostic is made, an audiologist would be required to put together a rehabilitation plan, which may involve:</div><ul><li>teaching patients how to use the prescribed hearing aid</li><li>increasing hearing ability by using lip-reading, or other communication skills</li><li>giving patients information and advice on how to manage their condition</li><li>managing patients with dual sensory loss (hearing and sight) or learning disabilities.</li></ul><div>An audiologist may also be involved in counselling clients and their families to help them adjust to hearing loss and balance disorders.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

This is to make sure that they don't feel pain. An&nbsp; Anesthetist monitors patients closely after surgery to make sure that they recover comfortably.&nbsp;<br>An anesthetists key duties will be to:</div><ul><li>prepare patients for surgery by explaining any risks or side effects</li><li>give anaesthetics to patients</li><li>observe and monitor patients during surgery, responding quickly to any changes</li><li>resuscitate and stabilise patients in the emergency department</li><li>relieve pain during childbirth</li><li>ease pain after an operation</li><li>manage acute and chronic pain</li><li>help psychiatric patients receiving electric shock therapy.</li></ul>]]></description>
