⊹ Main point in adab in Seeking Knowledge is shown below

1. Good Intentions: When we seek knowledge, we aim to please Allah and improve ourselves, not just for personal gain or recognition.

2. Respect: We should always show respect to our teachers, scholars, and fellow students. Listening carefully, expressing gratitude, and appreciating their efforts help create a supportive learning environment.

3. Patience : Learning can be challenging, and we must keep working hard, even when it gets tough. Sticking with it shows our commitment to the process.

4. Preparation: Before we dive into learning, it’s essential that we prepare ourselves. This means setting aside time to study, gathering the right resources, and creating a conducive environment for learning. By being organized and mentally ready, we enhance our ability to absorb and understand knowledge effectively. Proper preparation shows our commitment and helps us make the most of our learning journey.

and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said ;

"Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah, pay the Zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House, if you are able to do so."

And then Jibril ask him again, inform me about Islam .

He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in qadar (fate), both in its good and in its evil aspects."

Lastly , Jibril ask Prophet Muhammad to inform him about Ihsan .

and Prophet Muhammad PBUH answered "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you."

Each pillar also accounts for those who may be unable to fulfil one or more of them, for example due to ill health, menstruation or pregnancy and a lack of financial means, amongst others.

BELIEVE IN ALLAH
To believe in Allah is to believe that there is only one God worthy of worship, with no partner, or son. This concept is known as Tawheed. Also, it is to completely believe in the way he is described in the Quran, Sunnah and in his 99 names.

Allah clearly explains Tawheed in the Holy Qur’an as He says in Surah Ikhlas:

“قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ، اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ، لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ”

“Say, He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

BELIEVE IN ANGLES

Angels do not sleep, eat or suffer from illnesses. It is crucial to believe in the angels, as they keep a record of our deeds. 

Allah clearly confirmed the importance of this pillar in the Holy Qur’an as He says in Surah An-Nisa:

“يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ آمِنُواْ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِيَ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلالاً بَعِيدًا”

“O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.”

BELIEVE IN KITAB-KITAB
Allah revealed books to his messengers as a form of guidance and proof for mankind. Among these books, is the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad.

Allah has guaranteed the protection of the Quran from any distortion or corruption and clearly mentioned that in the Holy Qur’an as He says in Surah Al-Hijr:

“إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ”

“Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian.”

Adab toward parents

• Involves respect, gratitude, obedience (within reason), kindness, effective communication, prayer, and avoiding harmful behavior. By embodying these principles, we honor our parents and strengthen our family ties, fulfilling an important aspect of our faith.

  
  

Adab toward neighbour

• Adab towards neighbors involves respect, kindness, avoiding harm, good communication, celebration, patience, prayer, and following the Prophet’s teachings. By embodying these principles, we contribute to a peaceful and supportive community.

Adab towards friends

• Adab towards friends involves respect, kindness, good communication, avoiding backbiting, forgiveness, quality time, prayer, and encouraging goodness. By embodying these principles, we nurture strong, positive friendships that enhance our lives and faith.

1. Why We Should Take Care of Nature and Our Surroundings:

• Keeping Water Clean for Animals:

Animals that live in the water, like fish and other sea creatures, need clean water to survive. If we keep polluting rivers, oceans, and lakes, these animals might die out.

• Avoiding Extinction:

When we harm the environment, like by cutting down forests or polluting the oceans, we destroy places where animals live. If animals lose their homes, they can become extinct, meaning they disappear forever. By taking care of nature, we help protect these homes and give animals a chance to survive.

• Helping Ourselves Stay Healthy:

A clean environment is good for people too. Clean air and water help keep us physically healthy, and beautiful natural spaces can also help us feel mentally relaxed and happy. So, taking care of nature isn’t just good for animals—it’s good for us too!

• Preventing Disasters:

If we don’t take care of the environment, natural disasters like floods, landslides, and storms can get worse. For example, cutting down trees can lead to landslides, and pollution can make flooding worse. By protecting the environment, we might reduce the chances of these disasters happening.

2. How We Should Respond to People Who Don’t Take Care of the Environment:

• Recycling:

One way to help is by recycling. When we recycle, we reduce the amount of waste that goes into the trash or ends up in nature. This is a simple way to make a big difference in protecting our environment.

• Reporting Bad Behavior:

If you see someone littering, dumping trash, or doing other things that harm the environment, you can report them to the authorities. This helps stop people from continuing these bad actions.

• Raising Awareness:

It’s also important to tell others why they should care about the environment. By organizing campaigns or sharing information, we can help more people understand why it’s so important to take care of the earth.

• Burning Trash:

There’s also a mention about burning garbage, which is bad for the environment. When people burn trash, it releases harmful chemicals into the air, making the air unhealthy to breathe. Instead of burning waste, it’s better to find other ways to dispose of it, like recycling or using proper waste facilities.
