When arriving to this scene the ambulance service would have been in charge of assessing the scene, prioritising the victims and giving primary care. The ambulance service need too assess the scene in order to identify which victims have the best chance of survival which need urgent care. The ambulance service also need to prioritise victims so that thy can give care to the victims which need it more urgently. This is to increase the chance of survival for more people involved in then crash. Primary care is also given by the ambulance service as they are the most trained and give the care needed to the victims so that they are in a stable state when they get to hospital.

at this incident the fire service would have been responsible for extinguishing fires, preventing the spread of fire, and removing people from cars. They need to remove people from vehicles to help the ambulance service so they can give the injured the medical care they require. The fires need to be put out in order to make the scene safe for other services to work in.

One role of the police at this incident was to protect scene. They did this by first using cars to block roads so that no other vehicles could get onto the scene other than required emergency services. They did this so that any evidence was not damaged as this could have prevented a successful investigation.
At this incident the police also managed scene. This was controlling who and what went in and out of the crime scene. this meant that no one was tampering with possible evidence which could have confused the investigation. Also this stops the oppress entering the scene as the Emergency services don't want the press to start publicising things that may not be true and cause fear amongst the public.
coordinate services
The police were also responsible for investigating the incident. this was so that they could find who was at fault and if it was a technical error or human. this also lead to the police finding who was at fault and this person was prosecuted.
Identifying the victims was another of the Police's responsibilities. they did this in a number of ways. They needed to do this in order to tell families and friends about the incident and tell them were their loved ones are if they are in hospital. This also means that the families feel that they are kept informed and this makes the families feel that the police are doing the best they can.

this is an acronym used by the first officer to arrive at the scene to assess the situation to solve the situation in the best possible way.
Casualties. this is how many are there. In the case of Shoreham Air show Crash, there were a total of 21 casualties of this incident. seven of those were fatal.
Hazards. This is anything that could cause more danger to the public or services attending the scene. This could include combustible liquids/gasses in vehicles which could cause explosions and further fires.
Access. This is how the other emergency services can access the scene. in this case this was done by closing roads and diverting traffic away from the area. This meant that othe emergency services could get to the scene easily and quickly.
Location. This is finding the exact location of the incident and relaying this back to the control room. This allows the other services to find the incident easier and get there quicker.
Emergency services required. This is considering which services are needed to respond to the incident. This allows the incident to be dealt with quickly.
Type. Tis is the type of incident that they are attending. This would be to let the other services know what they will be dealing with when they arrive and how they need to prepare. for example knowing which tools will be required for the incident.
Safety of your self and others. this is considering the environment and ensuring you are safe and that other involved in the scene and around the scene are as safe as possible.

I think that the fire service manage to control and extinguish the fire well and prevent further injuries from fire at this incident. This is because they checked to see if there was any highly explosive liquids or gases in any of the vehicles. when they found that here was still fuel in the plane they created an exclusion zone until the fire was out and the area was safe. also they ensured that the fire was confined to the plane and did not spread to any of the opther vehicles in the area

At this incident, I think that the police managed protected the scene well. This is because they kept anything involved in the incident within the cordon and anything else out that was not required. This meant that the evidence at the scene was preserved and this lead to aa full investigation to the incident.
I also believe that the police investigated the incident well which lead to the pilot being charged with manslaughter. This means that the police investigated the incident well because if they didn't no-one would have been charged and the person responsible would not have been found. this would lead to families effected by the incident would not feel that they have go justice and this could lead to further problems.

I think that the Ambulance service carried out all of their responsibilities to a high level. This is because the death toll of this incident was 11 which was low for such as large incident. This shows that the ambulance service carried out good primary care before the casualties got to hospital and prioritised the casualties well in order to save as many people as possible.

I think that the emergency services worked well together. This is because they all helped each other in a stress full situation. an example of this would be the red cross and the Ambulance service. This is because they both carried out primary care to the casualties and this helped them save lives and ensure people got to hospital as quickly as possible. The police and also helped the Ambulance service at this incident as they carried out first aid on those who had less serious injuries. the Fire service also helped the paramedics by removing people from cars and other vehicles meaning that the paramedics had better access to the casualties meaning they could treat them better. the police also helped the Fire service at this incident by creating the exclusion zone they needed to extinguish the fire and prevent the spread of fire. After this incident the police worked closely with the Air Accidents Investigations Branch (AAIB) to investigate the incident. this investigation found that the pilot had tried to do a stunt too low which lead to the crash. this lead to the pilot receiving a jail sentence for manslaughter. Overall, I believe that all services involved in the incident worked well together using good communication and team work to resolve the incident in an efficient and safe manner
