March 19, 1965

I am back on the ground and I have a lot to say, The mission itself was a success but there was a major hiccup that you all will be horrified to hear. During my 12 minutes and 9 seconds in space, I noticed my suit had started to balloon a little bit. I thought it would be nothing and continued onward, and once I went to get back into the capsule I couldn't manage to get in because my suit had blown up to twice its size! My commander was lost for words and didn't know what to do, but I had an idea, I would let out some oxygen slowly to shrink the suit. After risking oxygen depravation I was able to get back into my capsule and pressurize it. After the scare I was able to calm down and catch my breath, only a few hours later the launch-back rockets kicked on and I was on my way home. Now I am in a small hospital type room where they are helping me and checking that my body is still doing well after going into the vacuum of space.

March 18, 1965

Today is the day, the day I will make history and set forth a new path for everyone down on Earth. I will perform a spacewalk for only a few minutes but those few minutes will feel amazing when it comes to it.

Only one more hour until I start the spacewalk, Right now I am making sure everything on my suit is functioning properly. It is insane to thing that this little bit of fabric and other items will be the only thing between me and the cold harsh thing we know as space.

I'm now outside of the module and floating in space! It feels so empty and cold out here, there is only me, my craft, and the Earth and there is nothing that could go wrong at this point and time. I will sign off for know and update you guys tomorrow when I'm back on the ground.

March 17, 1965

Today was the start of my mission! I was launched up into space with ferocious speeds. The g forces were crazy when I was heading up to space and eventually, everything calmed down. I let my operators know that everything was going according to plan. I was able to get comfortable and ready for what lay ahead, after all, it will be a hard mission. Tomorrow I will be the first person to preform a spacewalk.
