         <description><![CDATA[<p>Primary Religion: Islam</p><p>The majority of people in Lebanon practice Islam, which is a monotheistic religion. It is a universalizing language that was diffused from the Middle East. Muslims worship by practicing the five pillars of faith. This involves a profession of faith, ritual prayers, donation to charity (zakat), fasting, and pilgrimage to mecca (hajj). The prayers to Allah are performed five times a day. The sacred text is the Qur'an and Islam is worshipped inside Mosques. </p>]]></description>

However, there are also millions of Christian Arabs and Jewish Arabs. </p><p>Armenians: Armenians originate from the Armenian Plateau. Most Armenians are Christian and they speak Armenian. </p>]]></description>

The Syrians are being blamed for a lull in business, as well as an increase in crime. Cities are implementing curfews for the refugees in an effort to lower the crime rates. This is an example of racism because the Lebanese are looking down upon the Syrians as scapegoats.</p>]]></description>

Druze are in the south-central and southeast. This obvious division between these religious groups is an example of ethnic tension.</p>]]></description>
