The Ingenuity Program for middle school opened on November 1st. This is an advanced STEM program located in Hamilton, Mount Royal and Roland Park Middle Schools.

At LMCJ, we believe that girls are in charge--we walk that belief out by learning what makes them BLOOM and creating opportunities for scholars to be leaders in classrooms, Crews, and communities.

We know that the surge in COVID cases has made families reluctant to attend school events, so we have created another opportunity for a virtual "Look Into Lillie May" open house session. On January 17, 2021, families can log into THIS LINK at 6pm to learn more about our school and how they and their students can build with us during their middle school career. 

We will have scholar ambassadors on hand to talk about their leadership roles, current parents to talk from their perspective, and school staff that can answer any question that may arise. There will even be a Kahoot! to test new LMCJ knowledge at the end, and a lucky family (parent/guardian AND prospective scholar) can win a prize!

This time last week we were at 7% and we are currently at 23%. 

Come on Creative, our goal is 100%.

The deadline for middle school choice applications has been extended to January 28, 2021. Please submit your applications to tnbryant-tucker@bcps.k12.md.us or your student can give it to teacher. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.

Please click on the link to learn about the Henry Hall summer programs through the Baltimore Aquarium. The programs are free and for Baltimore City students that will be in grades 5- 12. The application is due Monday. 

Round 2 of the Middle School Choice Process has begun. This round is only for families that did not get accepted into any of their choices,   is waitlisted for all their choices and do not want to remain on the waitlists, was placed in a school that they do not wish to attend or the student was enrolled after the deadline for round 1. You can check the status of your placements by logging into the parent portal at www.baltimorecityschools.org/campus-portal or contact me at tnbryant-tucker@bcps.k12.md.us.
