Deforestation ruins the food chains because it affects the habitat of a producer so then there are less which means less food for predator and less carbon dioxide. Destroys the animals habitats. Their food web/ chain probably destroyed too. And deforestation affects both the animals and the people in an area. It affects the animals by destroying their habitat and affects the people by causing erosion ,lack of ground cover, and even loss of food sources.
