An insight I have is a better understanding of how a student can speak English that sounds fluent, or as if they know, but make lack in other skills such as reading, writing, or listening.

A question I have is how to group students together that helps those in need, but does not put too much of a load on students that are helping them.

I appreciate having dedicated time to plan and collaborate with my colleagues. I understand the importance of creating conditions for purposeful student talk, and the training helped reinforce that. I enjoyed diving into the science activities and would love to see similar, content-specific examples for middle school math in future sessions.
