Dear Lord,

Before the school year started, I asked for courage as the year ahead will be challenging for me. One month has passed and I am shaken by fear, doubt, and anxiety. I made mistakes and they continue to stay in my mind as they are not loving options. Lord, take the reigns of my heart once again. I have started to blame and not trust myself. Help me put my trust in You instead, Lord.

Lord, I do not know what the future holds for me. I fear the future and I fear that what you want for me is different from what I want and that I’m going to a different place. There are a lot of what ifs, a lot of I should’ve in my mind and when I go back to them, I do not know if where I am is where I want to be.

Lord, grant me the grace to listen to You. To have my heart, eyes, and ears open to whatever You want for me. Lord, grant me the grace of courage. Lord, grant me the grace of guidance. Guidance in my vocation, in my calling, and in my life.

I am being pulled in two different directions which are both loving options but for different people. Guide me and lead me where You want me to be.

Dear Lord, I hope I can entrust to you more my several crosses concerning my mental illnesses. I know they are many, and they are all tangled with each other and treatment can be difficult, and has been in the past. But I know Lord I have had some successful moments and relevant breakthroughs throughout my treatment as well. Which most likely have not been without your help. It does feel really heavy to take on all by myself especially with the many complications I have had to face. I hope I can deal with them more serenely, with your help. While I can wish it goes all away, I know that's not gonna happen and these will always be a part of my life. Instead I pray that I can face them with serenity and grace.
