Hadis Jibril : Pillar of Iman

iv. Belief in messenger of Allah

~ Belief that Prophet Muhammad SAW as the last messenger of Allah SWT

~ Following his Sunnah (greeting people with Assalamualaikum first, showing kindness to people, seeking knowledge for grattitude)

v. Belief in the day of judgement

~ Heaven : Allah Almighty described Heaven in Holy Quran: “Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord” (Quran, 47:15). From this verse of Holy Quran, we can describe heaven in these words as paradise is like a garden in which there are beautiful women, flowing cups and juicy fruits, rivers of water, milk, wine and rivers of clear honey.

~Hell : Allah Almighty says in Holy Quran: “Our Lord! Surely, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed You have disgraced him, and never will the wrongdoers find any helpers.” (Quran 3:192)

vi. Belief in Qada' and Qadar

~ In Arabic, qada' means placing and deciding a certain ruling.

While from syarak’s perspective, qadha’ is something that has been decided by Allah SWT for all His creations, whether it is in terms of its creation, destruction or changes.

~ In Arabic, qadar means setting something to a certain amount.

While in syarak, qadar is something that has been set at a certain amount since the beginning of time, so that it follows His knowledge which precedes everything.

~ We can't change Qada because it's Allah’s ultimate decision and will. However, we do have the ability to shape Qadar through our actions, choices, and efforts, while still trusting that everything happens according to Allah’s plan.

Reflection 🐻‍❄️ྀིྀི

As a usrah member, being part of this group has been a meaningful and transformative experience. Through our sessions, I’ve deepened my understanding of essential pillars of Islam such as salah, fasting, and zakah, and learned how to apply them with sincerity in daily life. We also explored the value of patience, especially in facing challenges as students and young Muslim women. Usrah has provided a safe and supportive space where I can grow spiritually, share experiences, and strengthen my connection with Allah alongside sisters who uplift and motivate each other. This journey has truly helped me become more disciplined, reflective, and grounded in my faith.

Suggestion of improvement 🐻‍❄️ྀིྀི

Take Turns Sharing: Each sister can take a turn to prepare and share a short reminder (tazkirah) on topics like patience, salah, or stories of the Sahabiyyat. Keep it simple and meaningful.

Reflect Together on Quran Verses or Hadith: Choose one verse or hadith per session and discuss how it relates to your daily life as students.

Dua Circle: End each session by making heartfelt du’a together for each other, your studies, families, and iman. It builds closeness and sincerity.

Knowing each other short session : Start with a quick “How’s your week?” to allow each sister to share a little about her current struggles or blessings. It helps build empathy and support.
