I also learnt that cobalt, nickel and steel are magnetic materials. If you cut a magnet into half, it will not lose it's magnetic field but make two new magnets! If the magnet is strong, it can attract magnetic materials underwater!
2. I have learnt that maglev trains are very fast and I would love to ride on it if I go to Japan. It is like the fastest train I have ever seen.
3. I do not really know which experiment I like but I have learnt that the magnets repel from each other so that they look like they are dancing or floating.I would love to try out these experiment in the future!
4.I do not really know if I got any interesting facts about magnets but I think that magnets ar amazing and cool!

The Maglev trains also have very strong magnets at the bottom.

In video 1, the 3 things that i learnt are 1. earth is a magnetic force. 2. magnets can pull magnetic things in underwater. 3. if you break the magnet into half, the magnet still has its own magnetic field. From video 2, firstly, that Japanese Maglev Trains can run up to 800km/hr. They are so cool and so fast!!! Secondly, I learnt that the Japanese Maglev Trains use this way to move their trains-repulsion. Okay, for the 3rd video, I really

really love the last experiment which is called 'The Jitters'. I love it because firstly, it has a magnet below the hanged magnet. Then, when the person let go of the hanged magnet, the hanged magnet actually danced and swayed like crazy. It was so amazing and awesome!!! Here is the FUN FACT part: If you attach a bar magnet to a piece of wood and float it in a bowl of water, it will slowly turn and the magnet's North Pole will point towards the Earth's North Pole. Thank you!!!

And 3) if you break a magnet in half both halves will turn into one magnet! And 4) the maglev trains tracks have magnets that can let the maglev rest ten mili metres above the track! And 5) the Earth's core has iron and cobalt! And lastly 6) if you put three bar magnets into a circle and hang a ring magnet to stick and let go it will attract and repel to the bar magnets!

Edmund Ng 1. I learnt that the core of the earth is a magnet itself and it is made of iron and nickel and magnetic materials such as iron, steel, nickel and cobalt are attracted to magnets. I also learnt that a magnet pulls magnetic materials within the magnetic field.

2. I learnt that Japan's Maglev trains make use of magnets by putting magnets underneath the train and on top of the tracks. They put the magnets in such a way that the like poles are facing each other and so, the train is being suspended in the air because of repulsion and the only resistance left is air resistance and that makes the train really, really fast. 3. I loved '' An Invisible Dance Partner'' as it is really funny how the ring magnet kept moving and twirling around in circles because of a magnet near it.
All in all, magnets are amazing and impressive as they work like magic and can do lots of tricks.
