    0 It is not possible tell arts organisations to not accept these donations. Legally, there are no ramifications to accepting funding from fossil fuel companies, so there are no deterrents to stop arts companies from accepting donations. So what really can be done?

    0 There is also a lot of money in fossil fuels. If the arts doesn't take it, someone else will. 

    0 Arts organisations find it extremely difficult to secure funding. In their desperation, they turn to organisations like BP for funding. BUT if more industries understood the benefits and importance of donating to the arts, arts organisations will have more avenues to secure donations; and won't have to turn to companies like BP for donations. To rely less on corporations, a democratic and reliable funding model for the arts that stimulates creative free expression that is ethical is needed.
