My game will be colorful and decorative to attract the audience.

Cost constraints:
The process of making the game won’t cost any money because I’m going to do it on a free website called Scratch. The person playing the game won't have to pay. The process of making the game will take me about 3-5 weeks or a month to make the game and to improve the game. The animation characters will take about 2-3 weeks to complete. This will take a long time cause it’s very hard to draw on a computer. I will make about 5 character for my game. And on the other week I will work on the programming. That process of doing the program include the decoration, color, lighting, music, choosing the question and the function.

Customer requirements:

Aesthetic requirements - What will your game look like and how will it attract the P2 students

My game will be really attractive to the boys in grade 2. It is going to be attractive to the boys in grade 2 but not the girls in grade 2 because when I did the interview with the grade 2 students, my partner/interview partner was a boy, so most of the questions I asked was linked with boy.

I asked what kind of things he would like to have in the game as a boy, and he have said that he would like some transformers, robots and cars. In addition, I have also asked him what colours he would want in the game that I am going to make, he said that he want blue, green and black on the game. I am going to use those answers I got from the interview to make sure that my educational game is going to be attractive to the boys in grade 2, but maybe not for girls.

Cost constraints - How Much time will you take to make the different parts of the game Programming Animation characters

The game that I am going to make is not going to be too complicated, therefore I am not going to take too long on making the different parts of the game and the characters. Because I am making a game for the grade 2, if I made the game too complicated they are not going to be able to understand how to play, therefore I need to make it simple and easy to understand.

I am going to have a digestive system in the middle of the game this is not going to take very long because I am going to find a picture on the internet and I am just going to insert it into the game on scratch, it is probably going to take me 10 mins to do that. The character that I am going use will be a transformer or a robot, and I am also going to find the characters on the internet and insert it into the game. But it is going to take me a long time to edit the theme of the game.

Customer requirements - What does the student want from the game What does the parent want the game to do What does the teacher want the game to do

From the interview with the grade 2 students, I have find out that the students want the game to be fun and easy to play. They wants to play a game that is fun and easy, and helps them with learning. They wants to play and learn at the same time, and they don’t want learning to be boring, they want learning to be fun and easy.

Both parents and teachers want the game to be not too hard but the game should be able to challenge the students a bit so that they can learn more throughout the game. They also want the game to be fun for the students, the parents and teachers also want the students to have fun while they are learning, they don't want the student to think that learning is boring and useless. The teacher and parents want the student to like learning and thinking that learning is a fun thing to do. They also does not want the student to play on laptop.computer for too long so I am going to make my game short so that the students will not stay on computer for more than 30 minutes, because the parents and teachers does not want the student to hurt their eyes by playing games. The parent and teachers also want the game to let the students to learn something from the game.

environmental requirements - What will be the reward in the game, how will you decide on the level of difficulty. What will the characters in the game do

In my game there will be 3 different types of reward, depending on the level they achieved during the game. If they have got all questions correct then they are going to get the best reward. If they had some mistakes during the game, then they are going to have a middle level reward. Lastly, if they did a more than a half of the mistake then they will have the lowest reward. However if they only answered 1 or 2 questions correct then they are not going to have a reward and they will have to do play that game again.

As I said before, from my interview I have found out that the boys in grade 2 likes transformers and robots. Therefore in my game I am going to have my characters as a transformer or robots. And I am going to get my characters on the internet and by inserting them into the background.

size constraints - How fast or slow will the game be, will it have sound

The game is not going to be really fast, but it is also not going to be too slow, at first I am going to make the game a bit slow because the student have just seen the game and they are not very familiar with the game that they are playing, therefore I will make it slow so that they can get use to the game, then I am going to make it faster and faster because they are more familiar with the game the more they are playing the game.

My game is going to have sound, when they click on something there will be a sound effect. When they get the question correct I am going to put a ‘BINGO’ sound, if they got it wrong then it is going to be a sad sound, and follow by ‘TRY AGAIN’. At first when the game just start when they are not starting the game yet I am going to put on a background music to make them feel more relax while playing the game.

safety considerations - How will you limit the amount of time spent playing the game

As I said before I am going to shorten the time of the game to make sure that the game is going to finish within 30 minutes so that the student is not going to be looking at an electronic device for more than half an hour so that it is not going to hurt their eyes. So that they will not hurt their eye and to also have more social time with their friends or family.

performance requirements and constraints - How will you make the game interesting

I am going to make the game interesting for the boys in grade 2. As I said before when I had the interview with the grade 2 students, I have interviewed a boy in grade 2 but not a girl so I know more information about the boys other than the girls in grade 2. I have found out that the boys in grade 2 likes shooting games, feeding games and games where there are a lot of levels. Therefore I am going to make a game that is connected with feeding/eating, and the game is going to have a lot of levels. In addition I am going to use the characters that the boys like to make the game more interesting for the boys in grade 2.
