A big tall tower with the top floor made of glass walls so light can shine through at all times. Big lens that magnifies stream of light. turns around 360 degrees. The lighthouse has a motor that spins it. People used to have to work in lighthouses but they are pretty much automated today. Lighthouse keepers would tend to the light, clean and maintain the lighthouse. The keeper would often sleep and live in the lighthouse. many lighthouse keepers had families at the lighthouse with them.
