I think design 1 meets the fitness for purpose because I have based the design off of existing websites of social media marketing agencies. the main page features images of what the company does and can be scrolled horizontally to reveal other images. The amount of text on the front page can be used to inform the customers specifically what the company does and/or how the clients can benefit from their services etc. I used proximity to evenly space the 4 images to make the website look nicer and more organised, those 4 image spaces (can be any number of images) can be used for employee profiles as seen on the http://www.socialites.co.nz website. The black bars below can be used for company address, company number etc.

Design 2 is also based on a social media website as well (http://usandco.co.nz/work.html). The main page shows good use of proximity as the spaces between the images are the same width. It also uses alignment and contrast on the 4 images on the main page, this is done by aligning all 4 images and the text above the images and all 4 images are the same size to make the website look more organised and simple. The text above the images don't explain too much about the image and the image only provides visual information therefore making the clients interact and click on the images that lead to other "sub category" pages. I made this website even easier to navigate than design 1 so literally anyone can use this website, especially between the age groups of 30-50 as my client specified.

This is the page setup for when a client click on one of the images. This "sub category" page has more information about the topic that the client can read and can navigate out of the "sub category" page using the navigation bar at the top of the page. I used alignment to make the width of the text and bullet points to stay within the width of the images to make the page look neater and more professional. Both the main page and the "sub category pages. The main image will also change every 5-10 seconds. The way I want the images to change are like the ones on the main page of this website: http://www.socialites.co.nz.

Design 3 uses alignment to centre all of the images and text and proximity to space the images evenly apart, these contribute to making the website look appealing and neat. The navigation bar is slightly different to my other 2 designs, the logo goes is placed at the top-middle/middle-top and the navigation "buttons"(home, about us, contact us etc) are to the left and right of the logo. The "buttons" use contrast as they are all the same size. Below the navigation bar is a image and next to the images are squares. The squares can be clicked and the images change horizontally. There is also some room for text to briefly explain what the company does and/or other information that the client want to be put in(the space can also be replaced with other forms of information such as bullet points or short clip/youtube video). At the very bottom is some more information about the company, most social media companies have contacts such as the companies number, email, companies building address and/or "follow/like us on twitter/facebook" etc.

Funnily enough, Socialites are our main competitor.

*Hero image is a term used in web design for a specific type of web banner.
