The station where we talked about etiquette is something I would like to try out as normal in class during show and tell, we jump straight into getting children to share. I showed me the importance of having a conversation with children on the different etiquettes for both the speaker and the audience and not just one or the other.

I never knew how the round lontong is made and she showed us the lontong maker. What's more interesting is that it has been in her family for over 30 years! 

2) I would prepare the prompts like in the different stations. The prompts helped me to think of the questions to ask the speaker. I would also establish the rules not only for the audience, but also for the speaker.

2. I like the Question Jar technique as it helps prompt children to think of questions to ask their peers. I would like to adopt this in class.

3. I find Picture Talk and Show and Tell session a lesson by itself and am thinking how can we have these meaningful sessions within our packed schedule of various lessons.

Before start of a show&tell, can involve the children in setting rules and consequences too. Before each session, we can recall these rules that they have set and remind them that they are responsible of their own behaviours.
