My first positive area is The instructor's feedback was personalized, timely, and relevant. It is good to see that the huge majority of my students feel that I always am supporting them quickly and personally. I also have positive feedback about My instructor was helpful when I had questions regarding course content. That reassures me that my best attempts to answer questions seems to be helping. Finally, I can see My instructor helped me understand the grade that I earned on tests and assignments. I do try to explain why a student has earned the score they have on their assignments.

I loved seeing that my strengths were my instructor "cared about me/was kind." I think I need to encourage students to ask more questions. I was also good at helping students understand their grade, so yay. -Becky

Doing well- Students understand the grade they received and they feel that the feedback is personalized - I often include the rubric if there is one, which I think helps with this. They also noted that I was helpful with questions about course content, but I noticed that I need to be more helpful with technical issues.

My biggest strength, as identified by my students, is that my feedback enabled them to understand the grade they earned on a test or an assignment. That was followed closely by my feedback helping them to improve their work. It is good to know that they are reading my comments on their papers and/or in my messages. Something I'd like to work on is having students ask more questions. The line "Please message me with any questions" is in most of the messages I send out, but students don't always do that. I'd like to figure out how to open that line of communication more. -Ellen

Students noted I gave clear feedback that showed them what they did right and lead them to know what to revise. Additionally, most said I seemed to really care about them and/or their education. I'm really happy that comes across in our online courses! Timely grading and returning messages was another strength mentioned by many students. : ) Michelle W.
