Stage 1. The first group session will include an ice-breaker activity that will allow participants to get to know each other and a discussion of the group norms. The counselor will continue introducing activities that will help build trust amongst participants in the following sessions.

Stage 2. Students will participate in activities and games together to continue building confidence and trust. For example, they will work together to find solutions to barriers that may keep them from completing their career goals successfully.

Stage 3. Through the use of journaling and group discussion, participants will reflect on individual and group accomplishments. They will list support resources available to them for use once group participation is over. Participants will be encouraged to continue to work together in completing tasks that will help them attain their post-graduation goals.
