Hi my nam is Isaac and one of many things I enjoy is sport. I have loved all sports from a very young age but the one sport I can't get enough of is soccer/football. I also enjoy gaming I have grown up with older brothers so there has always been competition between us in gaming. One thing that just annoys me is when you just get comfortable on your bed and then your mum calls you into the next room. My blood really boils though when people tell me how to do something that they haven't even done before.

Today's lesson covered creative thinking and thinking outside the box in a divergent and convergent way. My understanding of this lesson was thinking up as many ideas as possible to take on a problem and solve it. We went through a number of questions like different ways to boil an egg. From these questions we used divergent thinking to come up with as many ideas as possible. From this I looked at which would be the best options and which wouldn’t.

Today's lesson we started off by coming up with an object that started with the same letter and your last name (mine was Jug). We then had to come up with an idea that used our own object and someone else's, so I decided to use Antones object which was a carpet. From the two objects I had chosen I created a carpet that had pictures of jugs on it. We then looked at the target audience and who do we think would use it. I personally made my product for the older generation. My idea when creating the product is that people are always looking for some sort of covering for the floor and a carpet with jugs on it makes the floor more eccentric. We ended by thinking about things that happened in the holidays that were painful to us. A couple of painful things that happened to me was that my soccer game was canceled, I had to get up early everyday and did many family functions with people I don’t like.

Todays lesson we started off by finishing our partners summer covid problem and cam up with the solution to fix it. When then shared our solution to the problems in small groups. We ended with a reflection to see what was good about the solutions and what could have had been said and done better.

Today's lesson started of by finding a partner or three and finding out problems that we had in the summer. Going through different rutiens like see think wonder we came up with a problem that the partner had to find a solution for. Using creative thinking and collaberation we started to put together a solution to solve the problem.

How did your group work together to brainstorm and decide on a problem?

We all had different ideas of what to do for our main idea of the spin off project. To find the best idea we put all our ideas together and rated them in order of what we liked. Bullying stood out because we have all seen it before and can relate to it in one way or another. We had three main topics we were thinking of and then we shot ideas from each one to see which one had the most infomation. We wanted to find the one that had the most infomation because than we could feed off that in the final prduct. To see if bullying was actually relvent to us we asked a couple of friends and asked ourselves if we had seen bullying. We all decided that we had seen bullying enough in the school for it to be a problem that we could talk about.

During the planning process, evaluate how effectively you worked as a group.

The first lesson we had on the planing we worked really well together and got a lot done as a team. Soon after we stopped working together as much as I wanted to, this was because people weren't at school or we just didn't have the energy to work. We did fall a bit behind because we weren't working as a group and that did have an impact on our final product. The group work became a lot better towards the end of the planning when we were filming the video, it was a bit unlucky that both members in my group had to isolate during the planning which did make it harder to create the final product. Overal I would say that there was a lot to improve on as a group but at the same time it is hard to tell because there were very little lessons everyone was there.

How did you individually contribute to the creation of the video?

I contributed to the video in three different ways. The firstly contribted to the video by filming the part where AK talked in the video. I also was part of the video by editing and putting it together on iMovie. I added all the clips together and created the final piece. The last way I contributed to the video was by being the main person who talked in the video. We had to change around who was saying what becasue Micah feel sick to covid-19, this meant that someone else had to take his lines which ended up being me.

Critically discuss the quality of your overall solution and the video your group created.

I personally think that our solution was a great idea and could actually be turned into something if a little hard work was put in. The idea of having a box where you can ask for help and have nothing coming back to you is a good idea. I do however think that the solution didn't come across the best in the video. I feel that the video was a bit rushed and didn't present the solution as good as it could have. Without Micah we had to change the script and learn his lines in a couple minutes which wasn't easy. I feel that the solution was a great idea that could have sounded better and meant a bit more if the video was up to the standard of the idea.
