         <description><![CDATA[<div>Place: Mouth <br>The Big Mac is initially digest by month via chewing, which is a type of mechanical digestion. <br><br>The tongue pushes the food to the throat, where the food travels down the esophagus as a bolus<br><br>The epiglottis is used to prevent the bolus to enter the trachea, and the uvula is used to precent the bolus to enter the nasal cavity. <br><br>Our saliva contain amylase  which is a type of enzyme that broke starch to maltose. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The bolus&nbsp; travel down the esophagus and enter the stomach.&nbsp;<br>Our stomach contain gastric glands which release digestive acid to form a low PH environment in the stomach.&nbsp;<br>Protein and other macromolecules will be denatured when they enter the stomach because of the low PH environment.&nbsp;<br><br>Stomach also do mechanical digestion - churning.&nbsp;<br>The stomach muscle containing muscles which can mix and squeeze the food.&nbsp;<br>The bolus turn into chyme after several hours of mechanical digestion in the stomach which eventually enter the intestine. </div>]]></description>
