Edward Scissorhands

In this movie, you can see that the director, Tim Burton used tons of different shots to capture the mood of different moments throughout the film which is mainly suspense, humor, sadness, and fear. You can see throughout the film different close-ups of all the characters. Tim Burton also uses color to impact the feelings of the audience. When they show the scenery throughout the film it sets a tone for everything which could be dark, perfect, or out of place. Overall this film was well put together by Tim Burton and it really had the audience on the edge of their seats in some moments and also laughing in others, he really did this through the close-up shots, coloring, music, and scenery.

Do the Right Thing

Conversations can convey and or reveal different interpretations of someone's beliefs, feelings, and truths that they have created or have been influenced by throughout a conversation or within the dialogue of a movie. It is the very act of indulging in a conversation or writing dialogue, that allows for outside interpretations of one's beliefs, feelings, and truths expressed in those terms. Within the movie Do The Right Thing, directed by Shelton Jackson "Spike" Lee, an American film director, producer, writer, and actor. There is a wide variety of scenes that use conversations effectively to express different characters beliefs, feelings, and truths. A common motif the occurs throughout the duration of the movie within these conversations between characters is race, power, and the act of rising up and taking a stand against something.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

This movie was directed by Wes Anderson and it presented the auteur theory very well. It had his unique style of symmetry which was presented throughout the entire film. Colors, music, and lighting also played a huge tone in the layout of the movie, which allowed the audience to feel what the characters were feeling. Overall the movie was very entertaining and Corky.

The Fighter

The Fighter is a typical inspirational boxing movie based on a true story about Micky Ward and his boxing career. The film also has tons of family drama which gives it a somewhat unique background.

American Beauty

Iron Man

Iron Man is based on a comic book series from Marvel and the real life film was just completely over the top. It was entertaining full of action and drama. Plus super cool effects that made it seem as thought you were flying with Iron Man. Overall it was a super cool movie and one that even followed the monomyth of the hero's journey perfectly.

Thor

Thor is based on a comic book series from Marvel and the real life film was just completely overwhelming. It was entertaining full of action and lots of instances of family drama. Plus super cool effects that made it seem as though you were right there fighting with Thor. Overall it was a super cool movie and one that even followed the monomyth of the hero's journey perfectly.

X-Men

X-Men was a marvel fan dream come true. compared to the present day modern superhero movies special effects the film was kind of lacking but it was still enjoyable for anyone Marvel fan to see some comic book characters come to life.
