In this activity, I was asked to think about what makes life meaningful and for me that involves my relationships. This includes me relationships with my family, friends, colleagues, and students. I consider myself an extremely loyal friend and I believe I have used this trait to helps others overcome obstacles. For my life to be meaningful in the future, I hope to still have strong connections with the people that I work with and act as a person of support for my family and friends.

In this activity I observed my family's actions and how they carry themselves and act, and how that effects their day. I was able to see behavior I want to be increased for myself and my family and also what I want to be decreased. I noticed my mom is pretty on top pf everything she needs to do and holds herself responsible for everything she needs to do. She's able to stay organized and complete things as best as she can since shes high strung. On the other hand my brother tends to be more relaxed, unmotivated and lazy, and I want to see him get on a productive path to better his life and not fall back into his bad habits.

It was meant to observe certain traits that I have and how they manifest into the real world. I learned different things about myself that I did not know, and things I did know were confirmed. Each aspect of my drawing correlated to different things that have been researched about peoples personality.

In this activity I was asked to solve a puzzle in which I was to only move three toothpicks to create three perfect squares.
I was able to solve the puzzle within the span of 5 minutes over the span of two attempts. The first attempt was an outright failure, but it allowed me to experiment, and by the time I got to my second attempt I solved the puzzle within 30 seconds. The steps I used to solve the puzzle mainly had to do with visualization, before I moved a digital toothpick, I was careful to envision where it would be in relation to the others. So after visualizing that for a while, I found a solution through dismantling the topless middle square in the upper-half of the arrangement to use those toothpicks to close the side gaps- resulting in three squares.

In this activity, I was asked to answer a few questions about what life really meant to me and what would make my life full. A good life to me is one filled with family and friends and not materialistic things that occupy you. I believe wanting to be a better person and make the world a better place also enables you to feel meaningful and that you have a true purpose in this world. By giving back to people in need and allowing for others to have happiness, I realize what the true meaning of happiness is. As for my future to be meaningful, I hope to be a nurse and give kids the happiness they lose when they feel down and to raise kids that have these same values in order to continue to make little changes make a difference to someone.

In this activity I was asked to solve a puzzle in which three toothpicks must be moved in order to create three perfect squares. I was unable to solve this puzzle after trying for 20 minutes. For the first few minutes, I tried doing random arrangements, or making various three perfect squares with some left over. Getting the three squares is easy, getting them without anything left over is much more challenging. I determined that 2 moves could be used to make the squares line up but there were pieces left over. I then determined that 3 moves could be used to make two squares in a row and a third diagonal to the middle one, but there would still be a piece left over. I then realized the only way to make it work would be to make 3 squares with only corners touching. The only way I could figure out how to arrange it this way took 4 moves.

As I drew the picture, my mind knew what I wanted the picture to look like and I was able to create it without a concern. Once I finished the picture, and analyzed what the size/shape/image/placement of each element of the drawing meant, I was not surprised. The analysis accurately described and confirmed what I knew about myself. I also became aware of why I may act the way I do after seeing what each aspect of the photo translates to. I further understood and confirmed ideas about myself.

In this activity, I had to solve a tic tac toe board formation with sticks and move 3 of them to create 3 perfect squares. I spent 5 minutes on the puzzle. At first, I tried a few things like moving pieces around and rotating them but the most I could do left had two sticks on the outside somehow. I thought it was impossible for it to be completely vertical or horizontal so it had to be some other pattern. I realized when I did a horizontal variation where I moved the bottom two vertical pieces to the middle left and middle right, I could just move the middle bottom horizontal piece up to the very top to solve the puzzle. That was a fun puzzle.

In the humanistic perspective activity, I had to explain what is the ¨good life¨ and what makes life meaningful. I think that ¨the good life¨ is when your life is full of meaning and happiness, and is less occupied with worry or self-doubt. You have to accept yourself and find the goodness in everything you see and do to truly be satisfied. Personally, one thing that makes my life meaningful is my family. They support me through everything and I think that growing up with a supportive and close-knit family has made me who I am, and I would be unhappy if I did not have them involved in my life. In regards to the future, I hope that I can confidently say that I have always helped others and tried my hardest at anything I set my mind to. I hope to make some sort of impact on the world, and advocate for social change and justice.

I explained that to me, the process of growing is what makes me feel like my life is meaningful. I later explained that in the future I would like to help make the world better, by helping others find that makes them happy. In the future I would like to be able to look back at my life, and be able to clearly tell when I was in "the good times" and when I was not. Personally I think having bad times is what makes you enjoy the good times even more. Without having bad times, it would be harder to tell when you are experiencing "the good times".

I am extremely introverted, in part because I used to be very extroverted as a young child, and as I got older, I became more and more intimidated by social interaction, until I was eventually very shy and quiet around anybody I was comfortable with. Moving to Easton during elementary school also contributed to my timidness. Having to make new friends and try to fit into such a new environment has molded me into somebody that learned to do so by kind of blending in, and I think that my quietness definitely helps me to achieve that.

I had to draw a tree a person and a house from memory and just how I visualized the three should be. From there I made observations about my drawings and drew conclusions based on a form attached. The analysis provided by the chart of my drawings I found to be kind of accurate.

In this activity, I was asked how past experiences affected me in my culture you have audibly greet everyone in the room even if you didn't know them or you'll be seen as rude. Due to this experience, I always make sure to greet everyone even if it's not their culture and sometimes I am surprised when someone does not do it back then I have to change my thinking and realize that not everyone does this. One outside influence that affects my life is racism. I had to realize every young that I have to be conscious of how people perceive me, and how I carry myself which led me to overanalyze body language. Coming from a school in Brockton to Easton, I was shocked by how there were only a few people in the school that looked like me, and I had to be confident and sure of myself early. One positive of living in Easton is that I got to see how important community is. I see when a community is supported people tend to be more inclined to help other which made my ideals based more on community than individualism.

In this activity, I was given three questions asking about my views on what a meaningful means. The first question asked for my definition of a good life. I think having a good life is living an honest, morally righteous life. Having a family when I'm older would give my life more meaning in order to continue the family tree. I would want a ban on deforestation, as this causes pollution as well as killing many habitats that are necessary for survival. In the future, I wish for money as in today's age, it is a materialistic item that measures success. Leaving behind a legacy with no regrets is what I feel like having a meaningful life before you pass away.

in this activity i answered three questions surrounding the main idea of a meaningful life. my meaningful life would consist of surrounding myself with love and happiness. Having people around me who support and love me unconditionally while completing my goals as I grow older would make me believe I have lived a meaningful life. If I can put a smile on someones face who needs one or help someone out even if it is in the smallest way that would give my life meaning. I believe spreading happiness whenever possible is the key to completing my goals in life.

In this activity, I was asked about my thoughts on "the good life" and what would make my life more meaningful and I said enjoying myself to the fullest with my family while helping other people. I think that any person with a good moral will find the idea of helping other people when you don't have to worry about such things makes them happy because they felt that they made an impact on another life that was just not fortunate as the person is. The question also asked me what would make my life more meaningful and I said that the idea of helping others when I'm well off of and making my family proud is very meaningful to me.
