The event has been taking place in Pohorje (Slovenia) since 1964.

Usually there are two races. One is in slalom and the other one is in giant slalom. The points from both races are summed and whoever gets the most points wins.

Two of the best skiers who attended The Golden Fox are Vreni Schneider from Switzerland and Mikaela Shiffrin from The USA. The 2020 Golden Fox Cup WAS won BY Petra Vlhová from Slovakia.

There are two strong  hokey centers in the Ljubljana (HDD Tilia Olimpija) and in Jesenice (HK Acroni Jesenice). Jesenice and Olimpija were the most successsful clubs in the Yugoslav league. Now they are exchanging at the top of the Slovenian league.

Anže Kopitar, who is also the first Slovenian to play in the NHL league for the Los Angeles Kings, is considered the best Slovenian hokey player.

It is organised in Kranjska Gora every year. It is part of Alpine skiing World Cup, which is lead by FIS (International ski organisation).

The first competition was in 1961 and it is usually settled in the end of February or in the beginning of March. It is called an international competition, because people from all over the world come to compete. Competitors compete in two disciplines namely in slalom and giant slalom.

And for a conclusion there is an interesting fact that back in 1999 a slovenian alpine skier Jure Košir won the competition in slalom. For that we could be very proud.

 The season starts in November every year and ends in march.
The most famous ski jumpers in Slovenia are Peter Prevc and Domen Prevc.

Primož Peterka also won the bronze metal on the olympics in 1996.

The most famous Slovenian competitor in biathlon is Jakov Fak.

It takes place in Planica valley and It's normally happening in March. People from all over the world come and watch the tournament.
The first competition was organized in 1934 on  ski-jumping Hill called "Bloudkova velikanka" for state competition of Jugoslavija. In 1980 was in Planica the first ever world championship.Ever since Planica tournament is organized every year.
Ski jumpers are jumping from ski-flying hill called "letalnica bratov Gorišek" (ski-flying hill of brothers Gorišek) or "velikanka". It's 200m long.
Rjoju Kobajaši hold the record for the longes jump (252m) on ski-flying hill "letalnica  bratov Gorišek".
Normally some of the 9th graders go to Planica with school, but this year Planica was cancelled because of Corona Virus.
