Domenico Calcaterra was given a huge honour by Continental Who's Who. Domenico Calcaterra is an esteemed Cardiothoracic Surgeon and the Founder of the Miami Italian Scientific Society, with qualifications as an MD, Ph.D., FACS, FACC, and FACCP. Dr Calcaterra has been in the medical field for over 30 years.</div><div><br></div><div>He got his medical degree from Sapienza University's School of Medicine in Rome, Italy, and graduated with honours. He finished his General Surgery residency at the same institution in 1997, and there he did research into how dialysis affects surgical patients. After he had finished his General Surgery Residency at Saint Raphael Campus-Yale New Haven Hospital, the doctor went on to complete his Ph.D. thesis in 2000. After that, Dr Calcaterra went to the University of Miami. He wrapped up his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery, then did a fellowship in aortic surgery at the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor College of Medicine. He's got the credentials in both general and cardiothoracic surgery now.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
