Exciting
- Sessions are exciting because the TD kids do not make it hard for the tutees to teach since they are cooperative. They also help lighten the mood by being jolly. The experience us tutees get also is exciting because we get to be on the other end of the classroom.

Grateful
- I feel grateful that I am able to experience how it is to be a teacher, but not just any teacher. I get to help kids who are very bright and joyful. With this, opportunities such as these are very fruitful and should not be taken for granted.

Delighted
- As mentioned above, the tutees are very cooperative, and this causes us to feel delighted that they understand and enjoy the lesson. Seeing them happy if what makes us feel that all the effort we put is worth it. The fact that we are able to help them in the small ways we can also contributes to this feeling.

I felt nervous at first because I had no prior experience in teaching kids. I had no idea if I have the right skillset to impart knowledge to those who are younger than me. However, as time progressed, I now feel calm and confident during the tutoring sessions because I have gotten to know the kids enough to know that they trust me as their tutor, and that they enjoy my company. Overall, I am proud of us, the tutors, for stepping up and trying something new for the kids. I am also proud of the tutees for not being afraid to share what they learn and for being brave to try.

1. Gratefulness - I am grateful that I was able to use this opportunity to make the most out of my education in order to educate and make a difference in the lives of the TD kids. I am grateful that I have the chance to be a part of their lives. I am grateful that my partner and I had a chance to bond with these amazing and smart kids.

2. Admiration - I admire the TD kids so much as they push through with every session and really show an interest to the topics being discussed in class. They would always be the one to initiate questions like where would the homework be sent and even actively participate through chat. They get through each session with determination and that's what I admire about them.

3. Anxiety - Sometimes, I would feel anxious or scared and ask myself what would happen if I do bad in the tutoring session. Did I prepare enough? Will I be good enough?

Enlightenment:
- I've learned so many new things and made so many new realizations from TD. Even with only 4 tutoring sessions under my belt, I've learned to teach better and have become a better speaker. I've also realized that teaching teaches us so many things.

Rewarding:
- Seeing the kids learn is very rewarding. When the session starts, they don't know how to solve a problem or fix a sentence. But by the latter portions of the session wherein there are practice exercises and the kids answer correctly, it feels great.

Passion:
- I often found myself just teaching without much conscious thought. I also found myself loving teaching more than I thought I would. And seeing the kids learn and when I see the understanding of the lesson dawn on them, it lifts me up inside.

Personally, I felt troubled and hesitant at first due to the fact that I did not know if my abilities would be enough to teach the students anything. It was a new experience for me and I did not feel confident in my skills when it came to being social and interactive, especially with students I barely even knew. After the first session however, I suddenly felt fulfilled and thankful for the experience. I am instilled more and more with the belief that I am able to be of service to others. Additionally, I am learning more about how to interact and deal with others. Something that I realized after the sessions that have passed is fun that I have interacting with the students. I also came to realize that the students have fun in our sessions and never want to leave.

The first emotion I have ever felt at the beginning of a TD tutoring session was nervousness. It has been a constant feeling at the start of every tutoring session. I was nervous that the session would not go as planned and that the TD kids would not learn as much from me. I was always full of doubts. However, as the tutoring session went on, I felt happiness because the TD kids that we have are participative. I could feel their eagerness to actually learn. They are also very fun to be with. Lastly, as every tutoring session ends, I can describe what I feel as fulfilling. The time I get to teach the TD kids feels like a reward. Now, I know how teachers feel when they are teaching their students.

Nervousness
I have often felt nervous before the start of each TD session because of the pressure of teaching others, which is not something that I am particularly used to. I often start to doubt if I am prepared enough for the session, and public speaking, even in online set-ups, still gives me a little anxiety. However, this feeling has been going away recently as I have learned to better prepare myself for each session through meditation and mastering the materials.

Disappointment
Unfortunately, I have experienced disappointment in the TD sessions we have had for the past few weeks. This is due o the fact that no tutees have been attending our pair's sessions, so we have not had a class to teach for quite a while. This situation is especially disappointing when the tutor dedicates more time to preparing themselves for the session as this preparation seemingly goes to waste.

Joy
Though I have not had many opportunities to tutor our assigned class, the times I did have this oppurtunity were very uplifting. As someone who has been learning for their entire life, there is a certain feeling of satisfaction in being able to pass my own knowledge to others. This feeling is especially satisfying when the tutees actively respond to the lesson or even jokes as their engagement with the lesson makes you feel like you are doing something right and alleviates the feeling of teaching a "stone wall". It has also been very fun working with my partner to tutor the kids and accomplish other requirements.

1) Nervousness: Before the start of any tutoring session, I was very nervous because I was unsure how I was going to perform as a teacher. There were a lot of self-doubts, with thoughts such as, "What if I teach this lesson wrong," "Can I get through the session with little to no stutters, and "Can I even teach?" But, I think that this feeling of nervousness was normal and even though I haven't fully gotten over it yet, it has lessened.
2) Happiness: After teaching for 3-4 sessions, I felt very happy teaching the students. It was a feeling that surprised me, as I thought that the doubt was going to overwhelm all of my other emotions. But I felt very happy seeing the students participate in class because it assured me that I was able to deliver my lesson plan properly.
3) Relief: At the end of every session, there is always a sense of relief that I feel after teaching. When the students are glad during the session and participate a lot, I feel very relieved knowing that I was able to do what I wanted to do, which was to teach.

1) Joyful

Teaching the TD kids have been a joyous experience from beginning to end. Not only do I get to experience what it is like being a tutor, but I also get to help my brothers and sisters who are less fortunate. The opportunity to teach them has not only been fruitful, but it has been able to help me contextualize what their situations are in their daily lives.

2) Connected

I have been able to connect to my TD students not only as their mentor, but also as someone they can look to as a close friend. Ever since the Christmas party, I have been able to relate more to the emotions and feelings of my students, as I realized that even if we come from completely different backgrounds, we still have a lot of things we have in common. Said topics have been able to start discussions between tutor and tutee, tightening our relationship between teacher and student.

3) Loved

I am more than appreciative of all the love I have received through the sessions, not just from the TD kids, but from God himself. Even though I was extremely anxious when entrusted with the responsibility of teaching, the students were understanding and stuck with me through it. Even if the students initially felt like strangers to me, they were still more than willing to open up and make my job as a tutor much easier, giving me the confidence I needed to properly educate them.

1. Excited
- I can say that I was always excited about every single tutoring session I had because meeting the kids and teaching them lessons brings new experiences in my life as a student. I was also feeling this way because I just wanted to see my students and ask them how was their week or what are they up to. I also felt this way because this was my first time teaching, and I just wanted to give my best in every session and cherish every moment.

2. Anxious/Worried
- I also felt anxious during our TD sessions because I was scared of making mistakes in front of the children. Additionally, I was also worried if they are going to like my way of teaching and communicating with them especially because they are still kids. I was feeling this way because this was my first time speaking in front of kids and teaching them topics that I once learned when I was younger. I believe that this brought pressure to my shoulders because I want to make sure that they are going to learn the lessons I am teaching and apply them in real life.

3. Joy
- Joy was the last emotion I felt during our TD sessions because I was able to know my students and even learn new things from them. I also felt this way because I was able to impart my knowledge and experience to these kids, and I hope that they will still remember this as they get older. To add, I also felt happy during the tutoring sessions because it was really fulfilling to be able to prepare lesson plans, review past topics, and help my students sharpen their skills when it comes to solving and analyzing problems.

Nervous - I still feel quite nervous at the beginning of every TD session because I can never know what to expect, nor predict any unforeseen problems that may occur during the session. Additionally, I also feel this way because of some doubt I have in myself, especially in my ability to teach whatever lesson is assigned to that week. Finally, I generally feel this way at the start of the session because I still need to work on my communication skills as I feel that I still lack in these.

Excitement - Despite feeling nervous, I also feel excited at the start of each tutoring session because it is another opportunity for me to bond with the TD kids and communicate with them. Along with this, it is exciting to know that I will be teaching them the lesson that I prepared and help them understand more about the subject I am teaching, English. Each session remains as another opportunity to help me grow as a person and improve myself socially.

Grateful - In relation to opportunities, I feel grateful that I was given this chance to teach other people, helping them learn more. At the beginning of each session, I am reminded of the blessings I have, such as a good education, and the fact that I am able to share these blessings with other people.

I've experienced amusement, gratefulness, and joy seeing my groupmates and the children interacting with each other and how we change the way we talk considering that they are children and seeing us all struggle talking to them sometimes. It's also fun seeing the kids actually try the activities we have and appreciate our efforts as much as we appreciate theirs. I enjoyed seeing my groupmates do little performances just to get the kids to interact with us, however unfair and amusing that they have biases towards certain groupmates. I am extremely grateful for this experience to share our knowledge with the kids and I feel an immense sense of joy whenever they tell us that they did in fact learn something from us even when we are all tired after a day of classes. It is very rewarding.

Happy
I also felt happy because I was actually able to teach students the past things I learned in grade school along with my partner. This brought back memories of when we were still learning lessons in grade school and now we're the ones teaching others it. Lastly, I felt happy because my partner and I's students were actually participating in the sessions and understood what we were teaching.

Tired
I also felt tired because teaching students actually takes up a lot of our energy. We have our TD sessions after our main classes every Thursday and by then we've already done other assessments and tasks in our 4 other subjects wherein most of our energy has gone to. The sessions were still worth the "tiredness" because I end up remembering how happy 2 students of mine were just from learning from us. :)

Stressed
Not really during the start, but as weeks went by, I started feeling stressed because there are sessions wherein our students aren't complete, some are late and some join only once. When a student is late, my partner and I usually have to go back to the discussion part of the session since some of our students aren't familiar with the lesson we were teaching yet which kind of gave us a hard time managing the time we had for the rest of the session. There are also times we had to start the session late due to us waiting for our students who in the end, even after waiting, still didn't join the session.

Safe :
I felt safe teaching as there is no shame in making mistakes, as we are all humans who make mistakes from time to time. Jasmin as my partner made me feel like I could be myself and never get embarrassed by my mistakes. as well as our kids, who made us feel like we were just friends at the end of the day. Ultimately, TD is a great place to feel safe, as you can be your professional self at the end of the day.

Jolly :
I like teaching no matter what the topic is, and TD brought out my inner tutor, which brought me joy. It was also fun to start every session with Jasmin and our kids; together, we make each session fun as we not only teach but get to know each other in a fun way as well. Teaching should sometimes be taken seriously, but the idea that you teach with pure joy is one thing that can bring you joy as well.

Shocked :
I was shocked with how smooth each session would be with Jasmine, as we hadn't experienced any troubles yet with our TD kids. They caught up with our pace, and they were able to apply what we had taught them. As they learn, I realized that what we did our jobs as a tutor to teach them the lessons they need to learn. This, for me, is shocking.

Apprehension: Before any TD session, I would feel nervous due to all the uncertainties that lie ahead. I would have no clue how many students would attend, if students would come late, what the session would be like, if we could tackle all lessons within an hour, and whether students would participate and grasp what we would teach. Inevitably, the answers to these questions vary each time, and we would only truly know once we are conducting the session.

Enjoyment: Despite all my worries, each session passes by pretty quickly. As they say, time passes by quickly when you’re having fun. Although our students are not always present and responsive during most lessons, my partner and I still try to make the session enjoyable and informative. We try to engage with the students to make them more comfortable, and without even having time to check the clock, the lesson would already come to a close.

Fulfillment: As it would be time to write our logbook, I would be able to reflect on the session and have a sense of fulfillment. In the face of different obstacles, we would still manage to find solutions and go on with the session. Even if not all of our students would attend the session, it feels very rewarding to be able to help even just one student.

Lethargy, amazement, and gratification were the three feelings that comprised the majority of my Tulong Dunong experience so far. There were days I felt too lazy to attend Tulong Dunong class due to the struggles we face in online class; we couldn't know whether our tutees are actually listening, we couldn't see the look on their faces as we teach; nor could we feel whether we're actually accomplishing something or not. Second, is amazement. Despite the lethargic feeling that I constantly felt, I will always be perplexed at how our tutees have approached and interacted with us, their Ates and Kuyas. And lastly, I feel gratified knowing that I have this opportunity to share what I have and to meet our amazing members of the youth despite all the mentioned obstacles.

The three emotions that I have experienced since the beginning of Tulong Dunong until now are patience, respect, and understanding. I felt the value of patience when I would sit in the meet with my TD partner waiting for the kids to join for our session. I was also patient in waiting for the kids to answer for recitation and in helping them understand the lesson when it got complicated. Overall, patience played a huge part in helping me teach lessons to the kids, which brings me into my respect for actual teachers who teach kids and sense of understanding of the kids' situation. After feeling tired teaching lessons, I gained more respect for those who can bear with the whole teaching experience. This teaching experience of making powerpoints, talking for extended periods of time, and troubleshooting students made me realize how grateful I am for all the teachers who have formed me into the person I am today. I also gained some respect for the TD kids since they could also bear with the constraints of online teaching and could still understand what was going on in the sessions. This sense of respect stemmed from me gaining an understanding of their environment in the online setup. Even though an onsite setup would've enabled me to understand them more, the online setup with their slow internet connection and inability to join the meet at times made me feel as if I should be grateful for what I have and should strive to help those who are struggling around me.
