Diary Entry- day 1 in London

We arrived at the airport around noon, it was great to get some fresh air from the plane. My legs were all cramped,from sitting down for so long and I was extremely tired. After we went through all the passport checks we met our relatives and had a nice fruit smoothie. It was so nice to get to see all our relatives because we hadn't seen them in so long. Later, we went and packed the cars with our luggage and drove to Nanima and Baba's house. They had moved house from last time so we had a look around their new house. It was really nice and we all liked it very much. After a while of sitting on the couches and catching up, we went for a big bush walk. The forestry was so beautiful and green, I loved it all so much. It was so much fun because all of us kids played tag through bushes. Once we made it back home, we had some delicious dinner. The daylight savings in the summer here is mad. It's weird because the time was about 8:00pm and it was still sunny outside. It looked as if it was 3:30pm. Anyway, after dinner me and some of my siblings headed to Mama jee and Aunty Sarah's house to sleep for the night. Once we had made our beds and gotten ready we went to bed. I was so tired from the plane trip and the change in time zones that as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep.

And guess what... I got so close to going to Paris I was right next to the train that was leaving to go there. I really wanted to go😢. It costs like £350 to get there and back! Why does it have to be so expensive. However that was the closest I have ever been to Paris

Our first flight to Abu Dhabi was delayed for an hour and a half. So that made us miss the connecting flight to Brisbane. The next flight back to Brisbane is in 24 hours, so Friday night. Thankfully they have provided hospitality at a hotel. So now we are stuck in Abu Dhabi for 24 hours! Anyway, I will see u guys on Monday
