Fusion is one of the developmental dental anomalies in which two adjacent teeth are joined at the crown level forming a single tooth with an enlarged crown. Fusion causes some clinical problems such as unaesthetic appearance, pain, caries, and malocclusion. The management of fusion often needs multidisciplinary approach to give best possible esthetic and functional outcome

In some cases, this condition also involves the roots of the deciduous second molars in a similar manner and the maxillary central incisors may exhibit notching around the cervical region of the clinical crown.

This poster presents a case report of an 8-year-old girl that was referred to the surgery department with complaints of swelling in the palate and pain when masticating. The intraoral examination showed swelling in the anterior palatal region without no mucosa color alteration. The patient had normal mixed dentition with no other abnormalities. There were no signs of syndromes. A periapical radiograph was taken and confirming the presence of two supernumerary teeth between central incisors (mesiodens) in inverted position. Also, there was not root resorption of the permanent roots of this region and no evidences of associated pathologies.

It is most commonly found in molars but can also occur in anterior teeth. It can cause discomfort while eating and occasional bleeding. This poster presents an unusual case of pulp polyp in a 36-year-old man with a worm-shaped presentation in the maxilla permanent first molar's crown region. It highlights that pulp polyps can have a wide range of presentations regardless of their location and appearance, and also the impact when it infects a tooth.

The patient had a medical history of joint pains, rashes over her skin and fever. She was referred for consultation to the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology for pain in the right maxillary second premolar, which was extensively decayed. An intra-oral periapical radiograph (IOPA) taken to evaluate the periapical status of the tooth incidentally showed thickening of the roots of an adjacent molar. A panoramic radiograph was taken to evaluate the roots of other teeth. Most of them showed increased thickness of roots due to excessive deposition of cementum depicting a generalized thickening and mild interdental bone loss.

this poster present a case of Enamel pearl diagnosed by cone beam computed tomography. based on a case report a 35-year-old female patient complaining of pain in the maxillary posterior teeth on the left side. A periapical radiograph was requested to evaluate the afflicted region by symptomatology, and a circular, radiopaque, well-defined picture appeared in tooth 27. As the periapical radiograph revealed no image that justified the presence of pain symptoms, a CBCT examination with a more well-defined field of view was requested to better evaluate the area and search for possible cracks or fractures. In the furcation area of tooth 27, adherent to the roots of the tooth between the mesiopalatal and distopalatal roots, the CBCT revealed a spherical, hypodense structure on the inside that was hypodense on the exterior, suggesting the presence of an enamel pearl. this poster consists of discussion of the case, conclusion, and the radiograph images to clarify the case.

A case of A 17-year-old male patient in the final stage of orthodontic treatment presented with the primary second molars in position
for space maintenance. Hypodontia had been previously diagnosed by the orthodontic team, and the patient was referred to the Oral Rehabilitation Clinic (FOB/USP) for extraction of those teeth and rehabilitation of the area. Analyses of the occlusal condition revealed the presence of both canine and protrusive guidance achieved by orthodontic therapy and that the deciduous second molars were in infraocclusion (Figure 2). The patient did not present with any systemic or genetic disorder that could beassociated with hypodontia, and the oral hygiene
status was satisfactory.

Group 6 :
160110220027 - Faiqa Novaiza
160110220028 - Pelamonia, Gabrielle Carol
160110220029 - Daffa Aqila Ahsan
160110220030 - Raima Annisa L.
