Ιδιότητες αλγορίθμου

 

 Κάθε "καλός" αλγόριθμος έχει ορισμένες ιδιότητες: 

•Σαφής- Οι εντολές ενός αλγόριθμου θα πρέπει να είναι διατυπωμένες με ακρίβεια και σαφήνεια.

 

•Απλός- χωρίς σύνθετες προτάσεις

 

•Αποτελεσματικός- H κάθε εντολή του αλγορίθμου δεν αρκεί να είναι σωστά καθορισμένη, αλλά και εκτελέσιμη

 (να μπορεί να την εκτελέσει αυτός που εκτελεί τον αλγόριθμο) ώστε να δίνει αποτέλεσμα, και μάλιστα σε 

πεπερασμένο χρονικό διάστημα.

 

•Πραγματοποιήσιμος- Κάθε εντολή του αλγορίθμου πρέπει να είναι ορισμένη με ακρίβεια. Ο αλγόριθμος πρέπει 

να μπορεί ν’ αντιμετωπίσει την κάθε περίπτωση που μπορεί να προκύψει και να μπορεί να εκτελεστεί από αυτόν στον οποίο θα ανατεθεί.

 

•Ταχύς και Οικονομικός-Η εκτέλεση των εντολών του αλγορίθμου να ολοκληρώνεται σε εύλογο 

χρονικό διάστημα και με όσο το δυνατόν λιγότερες εντολές.

 

•Γενικός- Να  λύνει παρόμοια προβλήματα.
