1. There was tension between the British and Colonists because Britain was in debt from the war. So they raised their revenue through taxation.
2. The Colonists were promised land and the British never allowed them to have the land that they earned.
3. The Proclamation of 1763 made boundaries on the colonists settling past the appalachians which the colonists were not happy about.

The british didn't allow the colonists to settle on the land that they just fought a war over. The british made the writs of assistance which was a law saying any boat or building could be searched at any time. That upset Boston merchants. The British started the sugar act which raised taxes on sugar and molasses from non-british places so people would buy there sugar and molasses. These disagreements would lead to a rebellion.

1. British troops continued to occupy the colonies, even after the war had concluded.
2. The Proclamation of 1763 prevented colonists from claiming land beyond the Appalachian mountains, which angered many of them.
3. Multiple taxes and restrictions were imposed on colonial trade and imported goods, such as the Sugar act, which increased taxes on foreign goods, and the Writs of Assistance, which allowed British customs agents to search houses and ships they suspected to contain smuggled or illegal goods.

(1)The French and Indian War caused a lot of tension due to many factors including boundaries. The colonists could no longer expand farther due to the Proclamation of 1763. (2)Tension was also created from the taxes that came from the British from war expenses. (3)Thirdly, the British had promised them this land beyond the boundaries and they now couldn't have it which meant all 13 colonies were all angry wit Britain.
