I feel like my greatest challenge this year was starting the year and then coming back and finishing out the year from maternity leave. I felt like at the beginning of the year I was so focused on prepping for while I was gone and coming back at the end of the year now I am prepping for the end of the year.

We have been creating weekly Check For Understandings in our PLTs and reviewing the data. We also have a vacancy in our 7th grade Math class. I will be helping that class out with remediation, especially after we get scores back from the EOGs.

Jumping right into Learning Focused was initially challenging, but has become more accessible in the last few weeks. Another ongoing challenge is the strength of the MTSS team at BMS.

I would like to have the teachers be more organized in regards to PLTs and for the MTSS process to run as smooth as possible.

-Binders for teachers that they bring to PLTs weekly where they have all of the materials needed.

-Have myself be more prepared over the summer with MTSS by creating calendar with established meeting dates and have folders prepared for teachers to receive in August.
