It's just never caught my attention compared to other genres like alternative and hip-hop. I grew up around country music living in Texas and all, and you'd think that I would have some sort of interest in the music, but I just haven't been able to really grow a liking for it. When ever I go out and there's a country band playing, I don't mind dancing to it, there's a goo rhythm that you can move to and it can be pretty fun. And I have to admit that the lyrics can be very relatable at times for a lot of people. But if I am sitting at home, playing music through a speaker or through my headphones, there is a 0% chance that I will choose to put on country music. It seems like all country singers have the same voice and the same sound to them, and Luke Bryan tried to have the best of both worlds and I do not think that it worked out well for him. Well to be fair it's about a girl and that it doesn't matter what they do, as long as they're together. It's mostly about love and being with the girl and all that stuff. So a lot of sings probably have a lot of meaning to people. I know there are songs out there I can connect with and bring back good/bad memories, and those sometimes aren't even songs about love. So when a whole genre is generally about love and relationships, It makes it very easy for someone to connect to the music on a deeper emotional level.

Everyone goes through this at some point in there life when in a relationship, I know I have. It may not sound as good as other genres to me, but I have to admit, country music can be pretty relatable at times.
