The term hogaku, or Japanese traditional music, literally means "the music of your own country". However hogaku in many cases does not include the music Ainu nor the music of Okinawa. At present in Japan we are exposed daily to music from different countries and cultures, and hogaku is just a small fraction of this.
MUSICAL GENRES OF JAPAN<del>:</del>

anison

Black midi

Denpa

Enka

J-core

J-pop

J-Rock

Kagura(danza)

Lolicore

Min´yo

Música ainu

Oshare Kei

Ryūkōka

Rōkyoku

Sakura

Sangaku

Shōmyō

Subgéneros del visual kei

Visual kei

Traditional instruments

Biwa

Fue

Hichiriki

Hocchiku

Hyōshigi

Kane

Kakko

Kokyū

Koto

Niko

Ryūteki

Sanshin

Shakuhachi(BAMBOO FLAUTE)

Shamisen

Shime-Daiko

Shinobue

Shō

Suikinkutsu

Taiko

Tuzumi
